Knowledge that we have a voice and wisdom that we need to use it, for the benefit of our future patients. The Northern Ireland Healthcare Leadership Forum (NIHLF) is a student-led society made up of NI healthcare students of multiple disciplines, who promote and inspire improvement in healthcare. We encourage those going into healthcare provision to recognize their leading capabilities and their a
bility to empower improvement, regardless of professional title. The founding principle of the NIHLF is that healthcare professionals in all disciplines are well placed to make decisions about the systems through which healthcare is delivered. The NIHLF is therefore a multi-disciplinary society, intended to appeal to individuals from all healthcare disciplines; from nurses to doctors, physiotherapists to dentists and biomedical scientists to pharmacists. The Constitution of the NIHLF requires that there is representation of a variety of different healthcare professions on the Committee so that all professions have a voice in the activities of the NIHLF.
