There will be plenty of activities and adventures at Jungle NI for all ages, so bring the family and come along for as much or as little of the day as you like.

Nikpa was delighted to participate in BCH’s recent Renal Education evening, “Together on Your Kidney Journey.”

This was a valuable and informative evening exploring the range of dialysis and transplant options, with the added benefit of hearing directly from patients about their own experiences — sharing both the challenges and the positives.

The relaxed and welcoming format provided a wonderful opportunity for patients considering their options to ask questions, connect with others and continue conversations over tea and coffee.

Nikpa would like to say “well done” to every participant for sharing their experiences so openly and helping to make the evening such a positive and supportive event.

📢 Join Us for a Special AGM Event: Keeping It Renal Keeping it Real 📢

Step inside the world of Paediatric Renal Care and hear first-hand about the incredible work taking place to support children and families affected by kidney disease.

Meet the Bingham family, who are joining NIKPA for their annual meeting on Sunday 13th September to share their experiences of paediatric renal services.

Ben, was diagnosed with renal disease as an infant, so he and his family know our other speaker, Hazel Gibson (Paediatric Renal Nurse Coordinator) so very well. Having been cared for by paediatric services through to adulthood, they have a unique perspective on their journey and the experiences that have shaped it.

Come along to hear their story, gain an insight into their experiences, and perhaps enjoy a few stories along the way… they may even have one or two tales to tell about Hazel! We’d love you to join us for what promises to be an insightful and engaging afternoon.
