🎶🎤 Today we had a wonderful morning filled with music, singing, laughter, and memories! 🎵✨

Everyone joined in for a fantastic sing along, remembering all the words to some well-loved classics while making music together with a variety of instruments. From tambourines and shakers to drums and bells, the room was full of rhythm, smiles, and happy voices. 🥁🎺🎼

The afternoon ended with everyone reminiscing about their favourite childhood singers and musical legends including Vera Lynn, Tommy Steele, Sandie Shaw, Dolly Parton, Elvis Presley and many more. 🎙️💃🕺 It was lovely hearing everyone share their memories and special connections to the songs that have stayed with them throughout their lives. ❤️

Music truly has a magical way of bringing people together, lifting spirits, sparking memories, and making us feel alive. The joy, singing and laughter shared today was so heartwarming to see. 🎶🥰

🇬🇧🌸 What a wonderful afternoon we have had preparing for tomorrow’s VE Day celebrations 🌸🇬🇧

Our residents spent the afternoon creating beautiful flower arrangements and table centre pieces to help make tomorrow’s celebrations extra special. Everyone carefully selected red and white flowers, and we even had lots of fun dyeing some white flowers blue so that we could proudly create a full red, white and blue colour theme throughout the home ❤️🤍💙

There was so much concentration, creativity and attention to detail shown by everyone involved. Each arrangement was thoughtfully put together with care and pride, and it was lovely to see everyone sharing ideas, helping one another and admiring each other’s creations 🌹✨

The room was filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of joking throughout the afternoon, making it such a heartwarming activity for all. Activities like this not only encourage creativity and coordination, but also bring everyone together socially to reminisce, chat and enjoy each other’s company 😊

To end the afternoon perfectly, we gathered together for a lovely singalong to some old wartime classics 🎶🎤 The songs brought back many memories and created such a warm and cheerful atmosphere around the home. Seeing everyone singing along, smiling and tapping their feet truly captured the spirit of remembrance, togetherness and celebration that VE Day represents 🇬🇧❤️

We are now all looking forward to tomorrow’s celebrations and remembering such an important moment in history together 🌺

🎈🏸 What a fantastic afternoon we had with one of everyone’s favourite activities — Balloon Tennis! 🥰

The lounge was full of energy, laughter and lots of friendly competition as residents, staff and even visiting relatives joined in with the fun. From gentle taps to some very competitive rallies, everyone had an amazing time cheering each other on and sharing lots of smiles along the way 😊👏

It’s always lovely to see everybody coming together, getting involved and enjoying themselves regardless of age or ability. Activities like balloon tennis are not only entertaining but also incredibly beneficial, helping to promote movement, coordination, balance, concentration, strength and gentle exercise in a fun and engaging way ❤️

The laughter throughout the room was contagious, especially when some of the staff members became a little too competitive! 😂🎈 Seeing the happiness on everyone’s faces and the encouragement shared between one another truly made the afternoon special.

A wonderful activity filled with fun, positivity and precious moments together 💕✨

This afternoon’s tea trolley was an absolute delight for everyone! 🫖✨
We were treated to a beautiful spread of cheese and crackers, perfectly complemented by a colourful selection of fresh summer fruits 🍓🍇🧀🍍

It all looked so inviting, full of vibrant colours and delicious choices.🧀🩷

We had such a brilliant and heartwarming afternoon getting creative together! 🎨✨

Everyone took part in creating their own unique pieces of artwork using personal hand cutouts and a variety of colourful paints. It was wonderful to see each person’s personality shine through in their designs, with no two creations the same. From bold, bright colours to more delicate and thoughtful patterns, every piece told its own little story 🖌️🌈

There was a real sense of calm and focus in the room, with lots of concentration as everyone carefully worked on their designs. At the same time, there was plenty of laughter, chatting, and encouragement being shared, with residents inspiring one another and admiring each other’s work 💛

Moments like these are so special – not just for the beautiful artwork that’s created, but for the joy, confidence, and sense of achievement it brings to everyone involved. A lovely afternoon full of creativity, connection, and smiles all around 😊✨

Had such a lovely afternoon enjoying some flower arranging 🌸🌼

There was lots of concentration and precision as everyone carefully selected their flowers, thinking about colours, shapes and where each stem should go. It was wonderful to see everyone so focused, taking their time to create something truly beautiful 💐✨

The room was filled with bright, vibrant colours and the scent of fresh flowers, making it such a calm and relaxing activity for all. There were plenty of smiles and a real sense of pride as each arrangement came together 🌷😊

The finished displays look absolutely stunning and have really brightened up our dining tables, adding a lovely touch of spring and Easter cheer for everyone to enjoy 🌼🐣💛

A perfect afternoon filled with creativity, relaxation and happiness 🌸

This afternoon we introduced a brand new game to the group… BIG PANTS! 😂🩷

What a laugh it was! Ella, our Wellbeing Coordinator, bravely stepped up wearing the big bright pink pants while everyone took turns trying to throw the beach balls into them 🎯🏖️

The room was filled with laughter as everyone got involved, and it only got funnier when Ella tried turning around while the group aimed from all directions 🤣🙈

It was wonderful to see so much joy, laughter and engagement from everyone – a truly fun-filled afternoon enjoyed by all 💕

The saddest of news but a big thank you to everyone who loved her enough to send a card. Message from Amelia’s mum tonight.

My dear ones…

I’m writing this with a pain that words cannot describe… 💔
Today at 5:00 PM, our beloved, bravest little warrior – Amelia – passed away… She has put on her angel wings 🕊️

She is no longer suffering. She is no longer in pain. She is in a place where everything is beautiful, peaceful, and full of light…

For nearly 6 years, she fought with a strength beyond imagination. Every single day, she showed us what true courage looks like. She showed the whole world that even the smallest heart can hold the greatest power.
And that love – pure, unconditional love – truly overcomes everything…

Our dearest Amelia, you were and always will be our greatest miracle. Our heart. Our light…
Thank you for every moment, every smile, every glance… for the love you taught us.

This is not goodbye… it’s “see you again,” our little Angel 💔🕊️
