Self‑care idea: drink water.

Actual self‑care: hiding in your car for 5 minutes before going inside because you need a moment of silence to remember who you are.

If you’re running on fumes, you’re not alone. Our Day Retreat in March is for people who need more than a quick break in the car to recharge.

Compassion fatigue can show up in parenting too — that “I love you, but I have nothing left to give right now” feeling.

It doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re human.

If you’re craving a day to breathe, reset, and reconnect with yourself, we are hosting a retreat on 27th March designed exactly for that.

Just message us for info.

“I’m so tired of being the strong one all the time.”

That’s your nervous system waving a little white flag.

Do you ever get so overwhelmed that you just… go quiet?

Not because you’re fine.
Not because you don’t care.

But because your brain has hit its limit and is trying to protect you.

That’s a sign of compassion fatigue too.

Compassion fatigue isn’t a sign of weakness — it’s a sign you’ve been carrying too much, for too long, without enough support.

Three small things that help:
• Taking intentional pauses
• Having a safe space to process emotions
• Reconnecting with your own needs

We are running a day retreat in March designed specifically for this kind of reset. If you think it might help, we are happy to share more details.

Self‑care isn’t selfish.

It’s the maintenance plan that keeps you from turning into a burnt-out, crispy version of yourself.

Today’s reminder: drink some water, unclench your jaw, and give yourself permission to rest — even if it’s just for a moment.

Ever notice how caring for others can slowly drain your own energy — even when you love what you do.

Compassion fatigue can creep in quietly: emotional heaviness, irritability, exhaustion, or feeling like you’ve got nothing left to give.

If this resonates, you’re not alone. There are ways to refill your cup again.

We are hosting a gentle, restorative day retreat at the end of March for anyone who needs space to breathe, reset, and reconnect with themselves.

January often starts with a bang—resolutions, vision boards, fresh energy.

But by the end of the month, many of us feel the slump: tired, unmotivated, maybe even a little self-critical

Self-care right now might look like:
- Taking care of your basic needs, kerping hydrated
and warm
- Saying no to one more commitment
- Letting rest be productive
- Reconnecting with your “why,” not just your to-do
list

Winter is a season of restoration. Just like the trees, we’re allowed to pause, shed what no longer serves us, and prepare for new growth.
