Proud to be registered with both ARCH and the General Naturopathic Council 💚
I’ve been an ARCH Registered Colon Hydrotherapist since 2008, and I’m incredibly proud to belong to an association that places such importance on professional standards, ongoing training, safety and ethical practice.
I’m sharing this not only because I’m GNC registered myself, but also to help raise awareness of the professionalism and commitment found across our wonderful community of ARCH therapists.
When choosing a colon hydrotherapist, professional registration really does matter. It provides reassurance that your therapist is appropriately trained, works within clear professional standards and is committed to providing safe, responsible care.
Proud to support ARCH and all of its dedicated members 💚
💚 WHY ARE MANY ARCH THERAPISTS ALSO REGISTERED WITH THE GNC?
You may notice that many ARCH Registered Colon Hydrotherapists also display the GNC logo—but what does this mean for you?
The General Naturopathic Council (GNC) is a professional standards body for naturopathic practice in the UK. ARCH is one of its recognised professional associations, allowing eligible ARCH members to register as Associate Naturopaths.
GNC registration provides an additional layer of professional accountability. Registrants are expected to:
✅ Follow professional and ethical standards
✅ Practise safely and within their training
✅ Complete ongoing professional development
✅ Appear on a public practitioner register
✅ Be accountable through a formal complaints procedure
For the public, this offers added reassurance that their therapist is committed to high standards, transparency and professional conduct.
GNC registration does not mean that a therapist is a medical doctor or replace conventional medical care. It represents a voluntary commitment to additional professional oversight.
