Are you passionate about supporting older people and making a meaningful difference every day?

We are looking for Bank Staff to join our team!

Zero Hours Contract
Above minimum wage
Minimum Level 2 in Social Care desired however training will be provided
Full driving license essential
Subject to DBS check and suitable references

When we hear a song on the radio, it often brings back memories of our youth, a special time or something that made us laugh. That's why Dementia Disco is so special and why we are pleased to have been able to bring it to Berwick!

From The Beatles to The Bee Gees and Queen, our set list covers many different genres and eras of music.

🌟Join us next Saturday 17th October between 5 and 7pm in the function room at Northern View (TD15 2JL) for a dance, friendship, fun and food!🌟

Entry is free and you can register in advance via the QR code on the poster or when you arrive.

Why choose our Day Service?

For many people the thought of coming to a Day Service can be intimidating and a lot of pressure.

At Tweed Connections we understand how unsettling this can be and we strive to make the process as easy and comfortable as possible.

When you contact us we will:

🔹️Arrange to come and see you at home and chat to you about the service and what you hope to get out of it.

🔹️Invite you to a free taster day so you can meet the team, join in with our activities and decide if you'd like to join us regularly.

When you join us you will:

🔹️Receive dedicated care from our friendly, experienced team.
🔹️Enjoy a range of activities that will help keep you well both physically and mentally.
🔹️Get to experience new hobbies and interests.
🔹️Receive a two course meal cooked on the premises and hot and cold drinks are available all day. There will even be a sweet treat before you head home!
🔹️Be picked up from home by one of our wonderful team and taken home at the end of the day.
🔹️Make new friends and reconnect with people you may have lost touch with.
🔹️Have company and a lot of fun and laughter!
🔹️Plus our team are on hand with support and advice for any of life's challenges.

Last week we took a long-awaited trip to Fenham Farm where we got to meet and feed their herd of beautiful alpacas!

Due to bad weather and diary clashes we had to postpone our trip which was originally planned for last year but it was well worth the wait!

Our clients loved interacting with the alpacas and had great fun doing the seated exercises outdoors in the sunshine.

And what's a road trip without a sing-a-long on the bus? Video in the comments!

Thank you so much to everyone at Fenham Farm for hosting this really special day. It's one we will remember for a long time.
