🐅 HEALED TIGER — BY Juan Mellett

A fully healed and hairy photo of Juan’s tiger tattoo, showing how the detail, shading and contrast settle into the skin over time.

Healed tattoos are a great way to see the finished result beyond the fresh session, and this tiger still has plenty of presence. 🖤

WOLF • BY AARON

A powerful black and grey wolf piece combining strong realism with darker, more illustrative elements.

The central wolf, surrounded by flowing leaves and framed by the striking eye above, creates a bold composition with plenty of depth and character.

A seriously strong piece by Aaron. 🖤

JAPANESE TIGER • BY Juan Mellett

A Japanese-inspired tiger design, combining bold colour, traditional peonies and bamboo into a flowing composition.

The strong orange and black of the tiger contrasts beautifully with the softer reds and greens of the surrounding elements, keeping the tiger as the focal point while allowing the background to flow naturally around it.

🐍 MEDUSA — Tattoo by Aaron

A powerful black and grey Medusa piece, combining detailed snakework with strong portrait realism and dramatic shading.

The way the snakes frame the face and wrap through the composition gives this piece a really striking presence.

🖤 ICARUS – Tattoo by Juan Mellett

A powerful black and grey piece inspired by Icarus, the figure from Greek mythology who flew too close to the sun.

Featuring detailed wings, flowing fabric and the word Sonder above.

Sonder is the realisation that every person you encounter has a life as complex and meaningful as your own, filled with their own experiences, struggles, dreams and stories.

A design combining mythology, symbolism and realism to create a piece with meaning beyond the image itself.

🐝 BEE-UTIFUL WORK BY JUAN 🐝
A striking bee and honeycomb piece, combining bold colour realism, intricate detail and deep blackwork to bring this design to life.
Love how the golden honeycomb contrasts against the darker tones of the bee, creating a piece that really stands out.

❤️ FLASH TATTOO DAY FOR RONALD McDONALD HOUSE CHARITY ❤️
On Sunday 18th October, we’re hosting a special Flash Tattoo Day at Inception Body Art, with 100% of the money raised going directly to Ronald McDonald House Charity!
This is a cause that means a huge amount to us personally.
When Aaron’s daughter was born prematurely and had to stay at King’s College Hospital in London, Ronald McDonald House provided Aaron and his family with accommodation, support and somewhere to stay close to their little girl during an incredibly difficult time.
We want to give something back and say a massive thank you for everything they did for Aaron and his family, and for the incredible support they continue to provide to families going through similar experiences. ❤️
THE EVENT DETAILS:
📅 Sunday 18th October
⏰ 10am – 5pm
📍 Inception Body Art, Bexhill
🖤 Walk-ins only — no bookings
We’ll have a selection of exclusive flash sheets with designs to choose from, available on the day.
Simply turn up, choose a design and join the queue. Tattoos will be done on a first-come, first-served basis, so please be prepared to wait.
A massive thank you to Tattoo Everything Supplies for kindly donating the tattoo needles for the day! Your support means a lot and helps us raise even more for this amazing cause. Please show them some love! 🖤
Every tattoo, every donation and every bit of support will help us give something back to a charity that makes such a difference to families when they need it most.
Bring your friends, get some new ink and help us raise as much as we can for this amazing cause!
GREAT TATTOOS. GREAT CAUSE. GREAT DAY.
Together, we can make a difference. 🖤
