Warm Evening Greetings Crystal & Magickal Clan! With the Summer Solstice on Sunday, & this sunny beauty being strongly linked to this Magickal time, I thought it would be a great moment, to share a little magick & lore on this Wylde Wonder!

Nicknamed the bride of the sun ", Calendula gets its nickname from calendae meaning " first day of the month " in Latin, that's why it is a meteorological indicator as the flower has the tendency to open at sunrise & close at sunset.

𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄𝒌𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 - is associated with; Happiness, Sun energy, Prosperity, money, legal matters, Protection, love, success & confidence.

𝑪𝒓𝒚𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒍 - great to pair alongside Citrine

𝑴𝒆𝒅𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒚 - Calendula is antibacterial, anti fungal, anti inflammatory and anti septic; promotes wound healing & can help sensivitve, irritated skin & chapped lips, making it perfect for making a healing balm.

🔆 The whole plant is edible, though using the flowers and leaves is most common. Use Fresh leaves in a salad with spinach and other dark greens & flower petals can add a dash of colour & subtle flavour in soups, rice dishes, salads, and are brilliant as edible decoration for cakes & confectionery.

🔆 Great to use in Sun Teas; as well as enhancing joy, energy & success, drinking it as a tea was/is believed to Increases psychic abilities cleanse the aura, aid trauma & rid unwanted energies.

🔆 Hanging a wreath of calendula over your door was/is believed to keep evil and negativity from entering your home.

🔆 tradition says to Toss Calendula into a fire during Summer Solstice to aid in illuminating ones spiritual journey.

Moonday & New Moon Salutations Crystal & Magickal Clan!

I’ve been meaning to share these beautiful creations from this magical for a couple of weeks..
A few weeks back our band Beckon The Wyrd
Played at the fabulous Witch & Fairy Festival
where we met soo many wonderful magickal creators/sellers including the very talented & lovely Dvergr Jewellery

I snaffled these stunning copper hand spirals & after chatting and noticing my resin bird skull earrings he so very kindly made me a custom pair of bone earrings with garnet, sunstone & silver sheen obsidian! Some of you may have already seen them as I’ve been wearing them almost daily since!!!

also known as Galaxite or specular Labradorite, is a micro labradorite with tiny flashes that look like stars! Labradorite is known as a stone of Magick & believed to support transformation, strength & protection, enhance intuition, creativity & positivity, keep away negative thoughts/energy & provide spiritual protection & guards against psychic attack & psychic vampires ( aka people or entities that drain & suck out our energy).

✧ PLANT MAGICK ✧
Evening tidings Crystal & Magickal Clan, ive shared about this before, in the past, but I’ve had quite a few people asking for suggestions on this subject over the last week or so, so I thought I’d pop a post for some inspo..

Here’s some of our favourite crystalline beauties, for aiding our plant friends, plus a few plant magickal tips

🌿MOSS AGATE - known as the gardeners stone, promotes growth and health

🌿ROSE QUARTZ - brings our plants loving & nurturing energy

🌿 GREEN AVENTURINE - for healthy leaf growth and vitality , soothes stressed plants and boosts energy.

🌿 AMETHYST - believed to aid in detoxification & purification & to help ease oxidisation.

🌿 TREE AGATE - growth, balance and vitality
Encourage plants to grow strong.

🌿 BLACK TOURMALINE - helps nurse sick plants back to health and keeps away pests

🌿 CLEAR QUARTZ - vitality, healthy energy & fertile soil

~ 3 PLANT MAGICK TIPS ~

1. Place crystals in the soil of the pot or next to where plant is growing , to encourage strong healthy roots & stem & growth. Some great crystals for this are , Clear Quartz, Tree agate & Moss agate, it’s also a great way to utilise broken Crystals and chips.

2. Draw sigils on your plant pots for protection & health & growth

3. Water your plants with moon water to infuse them with lunar magick!

~ & A FEW EXTRA.. ~

🌿Use eggshells around your plant for both physical protection and energetic protection.
Bonus it works great to ward of slugs & the shells will give extra nutrients to the soil.

🌿 Talk and sing to your plants to imbue them with love & joy and help them to grow strong & happy!

🌿 Put your plant/s on a window sill that faces the moon to imbue them with the energy’s from particular moon phases.

🌿 Try to Avoid using chemicals or artificial sprays etc, as well as it affecting the plant physically by said chemicals leaching into the plant ( really not good if product is to be consumed or used in teas etc ) but it can also affect the plant energetically, ie the energies it gives out could become negative like the toxins that are being absorbed into it. & it could cause the plant to ultimately be less healthy etc.

Evening Salutations Crystal & Magickal Clan! We have some magickal ancient additions gone out on the shelves today..

~ RED FLASH AMMONITES ~
Ammonites represent the circle of life, evolution, the unknown & renewal. A lucky stone, believed to encourage… health, abundance & happiness, a stone of protection, stimulates personal and spiritual growth, encourages longevity & Known as a karmic cleanser. The spiral shape, is a symbol of change & positive motion. The spiral draws in negative energy, filtering it through the chambers & releases it with fresh, positive energy. Ammmonites are known to be Grounding & balancing & help restore & enhance our connection with nature. It’s also a wonderful companion for meditation as it can help to deepen our meditative experience, making it possible to achieve balance in body, mind & spirit.

The iridescence (Ammolite) on an Ammonite is formed when the minerals in the outer shell of the creature fossilise and react with changes in temperature and pressure during the millions of years it spent underground, in bedded in stone and soil in the Earth’s crust.

~ GONIATITES ~
These fossilised beauties are.. Goniatites, which are a genus of extinct cephalopods belonging to the family Goniatitidae, these ancient sea creatures are relatives of squid & octopus & are believed to have gone extinct at the end of the Permian period which is around 250 million years ago!

We also managed to nab another of the Goniatite trinket jars, as the last one got snapped up super fast.

Honoured & used by many cultures for centuries, fossils, because of their age, are often used as talismans for protection and long life. Their ancient energies link to the past, meaning they can be helpful for past-life recall, exploration & visualisation, astral travel and higher knowledge of ancient ways. Fossils are associated with the earth element, which can heighten your intuition, and makes them wonderfully grounding too.

Greetings & salutations Crystal & Magickal Clan! Happy Devon Day, cheese day & National hug your cat day! Well.. every day to us is hug a cat day as we spend most of our time cuddling them or them cuddling us! But any excuse for extra snuggles with our fur babies is good with us & today is the purr-fect excuse to shower our feline fur babies with extra love, snuggles, and attention!

It’s like our fur babies know, as they were giving us the look of, where are going mummy & daddy didn’t you know it’s cuddles day!! Our little fluffy void couldn’t wait for cuddles whilst we were getting ready so she resorted to hugging my bag in protest!! 🤣 have to make up for it when I get back this evening else il be in trouble 🤣
