We’ve been so busy this week that we almost missed a very special milestone… on Tuesday, Your Choice Assisted Living celebrated its 12th birthday! 🥳🎂

✨ 12 wonderful years of supporting the most amazing individuals, making memories, celebrating achievements and watching people grow in confidence and independence.

We are incredibly lucky to work alongside a fantastic staff team who always put the people we support first and foremost in everything they do. 💜

But most importantly, this celebration is about our wonderful service users — the people who inspire us every single day! 🌟

🍾 Here’s to many more years of supporting our guys to achieve their goals, reach for the stars and show the world exactly what they are truly made of! ⭐💫

We couldn’t be prouder of everything that has been achieved over the last 12 years, and we can’t wait to see what the next chapter brings!

It probably looks like we’re all play and no work 🤣 — and while we absolutely love having fun, enjoying the good times and making amazing memories together, there’s so much more going on behind the scenes! 💙

It’s really important to us that all of our guys are continually working towards their own individual goals, developing new skills and celebrating their achievements along the way. 🤩

These goals can include:

⭐ Learning to make their own bed
⭐ Learning to tie their shoelaces
⭐ Managing cleanliness and household tasks
⭐ Cooking up a storm in the kitchen 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳
⭐ Developing road-safety skills
⭐ Understanding and managing finances
⭐ Taking part in work placements
⭐ Volunteering within the community
⭐ Joining groups and clubs

Our guys love to be busy, feel valued and have a real sense of achievement and purpose in everything they do.

To say we are proud of them is an understatement! 💙

Every single day they show just how much can be achieved when you set yourself a goal, work towards it step by step and experience that amazing feeling of accomplishment when you succeed.

It’s all about building confidence, developing independence, learning new skills and, most importantly, believing in yourself. 🌟

Small steps, big achievements and plenty of amazing memories along the way! 💙
