A Day in My Life as a Healthcare Partner

No two days are ever the same, and that’s exactly why I love what I do.

Most mornings start with the school run, followed by a quick workout to get my head in the right space for the day ahead. Then it’s onto answering client queries, helping people understand their renewal documents, supporting existing members, or welcoming new customers to WPA.

There’s usually a networking meeting or coffee catch-up squeezed in somewhere too before it’s time to pick Archie up from school.

It’s busy, varied, and sometimes chaotic, but helping people feel supported with their health cover makes it all worthwhile.

These are things I hear all the time and often people delay getting help because they don’t want to make a fuss.
But when it comes to your health, clarity is always better than uncertainty. Asking questions and acting early can make a huge difference.

In 2021, I started my own WPA franchise. Since then, my business has grown mostly through word of mouth and recommendations, something I’m incredibly proud of.

For me, it’s never been about “selling insurance.” It’s about helping people understand what they’re paying for and making sure they have the right policy for their needs.

Why I Chose to Do This

I started in 2014 working as an Account Manager for my dad, who is also a Healthcare Partner. At the time, I never saw it as a long-term career because I assumed it was all about sales.

I quickly realised it wasn’t.

It’s actually about helping people at what can sometimes be a very stressful and worrying time in their lives. Whether someone is unwell, confused about their policy, or simply needs reassurance, I love being able to guide and support them properly.

Insurance can feel like a minefield, and my role is to make sure people fully understand their options and feel supported every step of the way.
