Do you look in the mirror and think,
“I don’t actually have that many wrinkles, so why do I look older?”
This is a common feeling among women, especially from their mid-30s onwards.
They start to notice that something doesn’t quite look the same.
Their skin doesn’t seem as fresh.
The glow isn’t quite there.
Make-up doesn’t sit as nicely as it once did.
And yet they can’t necessarily point to lots of wrinkles as the cause.
That’s because ageing isn’t just about wrinkles.
Sometimes what you’re noticing is a change in skin quality.
The skin may be less hydrated, less elastic, less radiant and less reflective of light than it once was.
This is why, when I’m assessing a face, I’m not just looking at lines and wrinkles.
I’m also looking at hydration, elasticity, texture and overall skin quality.
One treatment I keep finding myself discussing in consultations is Sunekos.
Because once women understand what skin quality ageing actually is, they often realise that’s the change they’ve been noticing all along.
