Movement matters - whatever the weather.
While getting outdoors has many benefits, it’s important to remember that staying active doesn’t have to mean going for a walk every day.
When it’s raining, windy, too hot, or you simply don’t feel like venturing outside, there are still plenty of ways to keep your body moving.
🏡 Stretch while the kettle boils
🧹 Tackle a few household jobs
🪜 Take the stairs when you can
💃 Put on your favourite music and have a dance around the kitchen
🧘 Try a short yoga, mobility or exercise video at home
Regular movement helps support our muscles, joints, heart health and overall wellbeing. The goal isn’t perfection - it’s simply to keep moving in whatever way works for you.
Remember, every little bit counts. A few minutes of movement is always better than none at all.
