Dear Yogis

After years of connection, growth, and endless shared moments at The Yoga Lounge, it feels like the perfect time for an evolution. While yoga remains at our core, our journey has expanded to include a full spectrum of practices that nurture the mind, body, and soul. This calls for a name that embodies this broader vision.

I am excited to introduce Soul, by Niki—a new name that reflects the essence of who we are and what we offer. From Soul Yoga, Soul Circles, Soul Sound, to Soul Retreats and more, our new identity captures the depth of experiences we aim to share.

This is more than a name change; it is a commitment to continue fostering community, wellness, and transformation.

Due to the awesomeness of the last walk, we will be gathering again for another wander & coffee!

Walking into the New Year with lovely connections & positive intentions for a wonderful 2023.

When?

Sunday 8th January, 9am.

Where to meet?

The Buttercross, Bingham (the bandstand in the centre, opposite Coop).

The Plan

We will walk up through the fields to Car Colston, then loop back to Bingham. Finishing in Guilt for hot drinks and more chatting!! The walking is about 1.5 hours (ish)

I would love an idea of numbers, so if you do plan on coming, please can you let me know & I'll add you to the list.

After a period of moving in and out of doing adjustments with people's comfort levels after covid, it now feels like a good time to bring them back!!

I will be placing the stones back in the bowl in front of my mat. If you WOULD like adjustments, please grab stone at the beginning of your practice & place it at the top of your mat. This just shows me that you are happy for me to do adjustments & shoulder presses on you. If you want to be left alone please do NOT take a stone.

A little reminder - Adjustments are not because you are doing something wrong. It is when I can see something to make your pose more comfortable or deeper for you.

I'm excited to be teaching a different type of offering from Thorpe Performance up at the Eco Farm, Screveton each week.

Thorpe founder & all awesome guy, Dan Thorpe & I have teamed up to bring you a more dynamic style of practice called Warrior!

Think yoga hit where the two worlds of yoga & training come together, with just short bursts of movement for 1 minute at a time aimed at strength, control, flexibility & mobility. We target in on joint flexibility, core conditioning & full body strength.

You don't need to be a member & the first class is free. To sign up just visit the website below & you will be automatically offered the first practice for free.

Men’s Intro to Yoga
Thomas Cramner Centre, Aslockton
Tuesday 31st May, 6pm to 7.15pm

I am running an intro to men's yoga next week. If you or a family member could benefit mentally or physically from this, please let them know about it.

This accessible introductory practice for men will provide you with the foundations of yoga, strength, flexibility, use of props, foundation poses, breath work & short guided relaxation to finish.

The course is open to all ages, shapes, sizes & physical abilities , from absolute beginners, to guys with experience who just want to practice with other men or a refresher.

If you have your own mat that is great, if not please let me know. All other equipment is provided. You just need to wear clothes that you are comfortable moving around in/gym gear but no short shorts please guys!

This initial practice is 75 minutes - £12 investment.

Depending on interest this will then be added as a permanent class & will run for 60 minutes going forward (£8 per session).
