WHAT DOES BEING AN INDEPENDENT PRESCRIBER ACTUALLY MEAN?
I often see people asking what the difference is between different clinics and qualifications, so I wanted to explain simply what it means when you come to see me at Vue Aesthetics. 💛
Alongside my background as a Mental Health Nurse, I am also an Independent Prescriber. This is a higher-level qualification I worked really hard for, completing extra training specifically in pharmacology, medicines management, safety, and legal responsibilities. 📚✨
What this means for you is:
✅ I look after every part of your care myself.
From your initial consultation and medical assessment, to prescribing the medication, performing your treatment, and your aftercare , everything is done by me, under my own licence and professional responsibility. There is no middle person, no handover, and no gaps in your care.

My training means I understand exactly how these products work, how they interact with any health conditions you may have or other medications you take, and crucially — how to keep you safe and manage any situation properly. 🛡️
