For some, yoga is a space for self inquiry, connection, and contemplation. For others, it may begin as a way to manage stress, improve sleep, recover from injury, ease physical discomfort, or counter the effects of modern lifestyles and habitual movement patterns.

Neither approach is more valid than the other and people's relationship with yoga can be diverse, evolving, and deeply personal.

A beautiful new week of classes is here, and we are delighted to welcome a brand new offering to our community ~ Chair Yoga with .with.lara, starting tomorrow morning. The first class is a free taster and a 4 week block course will follow from next week.

We are also excited to have our monthly Breathing Space session back on Thursday with , combining the calming practices of Pranayama and Meditation, guaranteed to leave you feeling calm and ready for a good night's sleep!

Chair yoga is a gentle, accessible class for anyone who finds floor based exercise difficult. Ideal for seniors, beginners, those recovering from injury, or people with limited mobility, long term conditions and chronic pain, where energy may be low.

Improve flexibility, strength, balance, and mobility while reducing aches, stress, and tension all at your own pace in a supportive, friendly space.

Sometimes yoga finds you exactly when you need it most. It can be during the depths of grief, change, heartbreak, on a healing journey or spiritual awakening.

The reason can be as simple as curiosity, wanting to move your body more, needing a moment of calm in your week, or just a friend inviting you along to class. In my case it was hoping it would make me feel better about myself and my appearance.

Whatever brings you to the practice, some people discover that over time yoga opens the door to something much deeper. For some, it may never feel that deep, but the practice still serves a purpose for them at that moment.

Thatโ€™s why I wanted to share this story. I had no idea that Ginger Spice's yoga DVD would become the doorway to a path that would shape so much of my life! ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡งโœŒ๏ธโœจ๏ธ
