🌈 WHAT A SUMMER SCHEME IT’S BEEN AT O.P.A.L! 🌈
Well… we’ve made it! 🥰 Our summer scheme has come to an end, and what a few weeks it’s been!
Every week has been different, with different themes, activities and lots of fun. It definitely hasn’t always been easy we’ve had some challenging and very busy sessions, especially as we work with some amazing but complex children and young people. But we’ve got through it together, and seeing those happy little faces has made every single minute worth it! ❤️
A massive thank you to my amazing staff team you have all worked so hard throughout the summer scheme and I honestly couldn’t have done it without you. You’ve been incredible! 🥰👏
We also welcomed our new team member Charlotte to O.P.A.L during the summer scheme, and what a credit to the team you are already! 💕 We’re so pleased to have you as part of our O.P.A.L family. 🥰
A very special massive thank you to Halle too! ❤️ Although you’re only 10 years old, you always get stuck in, you’re always there to help and you have volunteered throughout the summer. 🥰 You’ve been absolutely amazing, and we are so proud of you! What an amazing little girl you are! 🌟❤️
And of course, a huge thank you to all our parents and carers for trusting us with your children, supporting us and letting them join in all the fun! 🥰 We know it hasn’t always been easy trying to remember which session was on which day 😂 but you’ve all been amazing!

A special thank you to Jade & Harry for the lovely cakes and biscuits! 🍰🍪 Our staff certainly enjoyed them they definitely helped keep us going through those busy sessions! 😂🥰
We also want to say a massive thank you to Liam Malone for organising a charity football match and choosing to donate the money raised to O.P.A.L. ⚽️❤️
Liam raised an incredible £1,150 for O.P.A.L, which has helped us enormously and helped us continue through the summer scheme. We honestly can’t thank you enough for your kindness and support. ❤️👏
It’s been a busy, noisy, messy, fun filled few weeks exactly how we like it at O.P.A.L! 😂🥰
