Perry Barr NNS

Perry Barr NNS This page is for the Perry Barr Constituency. We’re part of a city-wide network that identifies crucial services and health and well-being activities.

Perry Barr NNS (Neighbourhood Network Scheme) aims to ensure that local residents over 50 and 18-49 with longterm health needs to can access community based support for well-being & a better quality of life. Birmingham’s NNS (Neighbourhood Network Scheme) helps local residents over 50 years old, access community based services and activities that promote well-being and a better quality of life.

Due to the success of the original scheme for older people, the NNS was extended in April 2022 to include younger adults aged 18 – 49 who have a long–term disability. We connect and support local groups and social work teams in the Perry Barr constituency wards of Handsworth, Handsworth Wood, Holyhead, Lozells, Kingstanding, Birchfield, Perry Barr and Oscott.
