Please be aware that the practice will be closed for the Bank Holiday.

If you need medical help while we are closed:

💻 Visit NHS 111 online for advice
📞 Call 111 if you need urgent medical help that cannot wait until we reopen
🚨 In a life-threatening emergency, always call 999

Please remember to order any repeat prescriptions you may need in plenty of time before the Bank Holiday.

🩸 Meet our new Phlebotomist, Trinity!

Some of you may already recognise Trinity from our reception team, but she has recently completed her training to become a Phlebotomist! 👏

By developing her skills and taking on this new role, Trinity is helping us to increase the number of blood test appointments available at the practice and make it easier for our patients to access appointments.

🩸 Blood test appointments are now available Monday to Friday, 8am–12pm.

A huge well done to Trinity on her new role and for continuing to develop her skills to support our patients and the practice! 🧡

We would like to apologise for any confusion regarding a message received by some of our patients today about a walk-in advice service at the practice being provided by a third party.

This event took place yesterday and is no longer running. We are currently investigating why the message was received by patients today.

Please do not attend the practice for the walk-in service. Patients with pre-booked appointments should continue to attend as normal.

We apologise for any inconvenience or confusion caused and thank you for your understanding.

Here's a snapshot of what we achieved together last month:

🏥 5,206 appointments provided, including:
📍 3,499 face-to-face appointments
☎️ 1,578 telephone consultations
🏡 129 home visits

⭐ We're also delighted to have received 5⭐ Friends & Family feedback from our patients. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share your experiences – your feedback means a great deal to us.

❌ Unfortunately, 185 appointments were not attended. Every missed appointment is a slot that could have been offered to another patient waiting to be seen. If you're no longer able to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone else.

💉 If you're eligible for an RSV vaccination, please contact the practice to book your appointment.

💙 Finally, why not join our Patient Participation Group (PPG) on WhatsApp? It's a great way to stay up to date with practice news and have your say on the services we provide. Simply scan the QR code on our monthly report.

📢 Help Us Reduce Missed Appointments

We've recently seen an increase in patients not attending their pre-booked appointments.

Every missed appointment is time that could have been offered to another patient waiting to be seen. With demand for appointments continuing to be high, even one missed appointment can make a real difference.

If you no longer need your appointment or are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer it to someone else.
