SEND Socials Birmingham CIC S.E.N.D Socials Birmingham provides social opportunities for children and
young people with special educational needs and disabilities.

We also provide support to parents and carers through coffee mornings, workshops, signposting and our online forum.

And that’s a wrap on Volunteers week 2026 !
SEND Socials Birmingham CIC has been built on the contribution of volunteers. Our volunteers give so much to our organisation, without them we wouldn't be able to do what we do.

But as Volunteers' Week comes to an end, we'd like to thank our volunteers again for all they do and will continue to recognise and celebrate their contribution throughout the year.

Two of our service users are completing the Wolf run on 14th June 2026 and despite the challenge of mud, obstacles and a 5k course in front of them they have decided they want to support us by raising money for us !

Thank you to Solihull Wheels for All for hosting our Moos group for an hour of cycling on Monday.

Our group tried cycling alongside parents and friends, tried out the specially adapted trikes and some of our more confident riders rode the BMX and mountain bikes.

We had great fun and look forward to another session soon.

❤ A huge thank you to Ed! ❤

One of our amazing parents chose to ask for donations to SEND Socials Birmingham instead of gifts for his milestone birthday — and thanks to his generosity (and the kindness of everyone who donated), he’s raised a whopping £319!

It’s not always easy to get by as a small charitable organisation, and gestures like this genuinely make the world of difference to what we can offer our families.

🌟That’s a wrap on the penultimate holidays before the big one!🌟

We’ve revisited some firm favourites and added a few exciting new adventures to the mix.

Over the past four days we’ve…

🐾 Met and handled animals
🏊 Cooled off in the pool
🎳 Knocked down as many pins as possible at bowling
🔫 Burnt off plenty of energy in laser quest
🚗 Built and raced our own upside‑down cars
🎮 Played in virtual reality
🛷 And raced each other down the slope at tobogganing

All together, we created 145 activity spaces — not too shabby for a four‑day half term!

A huge thank you to Maple House School for once again letting us use their wonderful facilities, and to everyone who plays the National Lottery, whose support helped fund over 40 spaces for our families The National Lottery Community Fund ❤
