Forget drawing perfectly, this session is all about drawing boldly, having fun and letting your imagination run wild!
Join us and Shanti Aid for Pencil Folk, a special two-hour creative drawing session led by Birmingham children’s book illustrator
Drawing is wonderful for wellbeing. It gives children and adults an opportunity to slow down, relax, express themselves and enjoy some positive, screen-free time together.
Together, parents and children will:

🌍 Create extraordinary worlds
✏️ Play collaborative drawing games

Over the past few weeks, there’s been laughter, honesty, and some really powerful conversations. Everyone shared their experiences and supported each other to build resilience.

It was lovely to see you all, I always love catching up each month to chat, connect, and support one another - women supporting women, it's something very special! 💛

This month we were treated to some fantastic advice from Natalie, our Nutritionist & Lifestyle Coach, . I grabbed plenty of top tips to help make nutrition work for me – what a bonus!

Our next monthly café will be focusing on exercise and menopause, and we’re really looking forward to it 💪

Through our partnership with Shanti Aid, we’re not just offering training, we’re creating opportunities!
By gaining skills, these women are building confidence, independence, and pathways into employment.
Together, we’re supporting women to earn their own income and find a renewed sense of purpose. 💫
