The CBF, along with the National Autistic Society and Learning Disability England , are supporting a study evaluating Inpatient and Community Care (Education) and Treatment Reviews for people with learning disabilities and autistic people (CECiLiA). This is led by researchers at the University of Birmingham, University of East Anglia, the Tizard Centre at the University of Kent, and funded by NIHR.

NIHR is also funding a similar study on Community C(E)TRs, called OptiCaT, led by King’s College London, and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Both studies are collecting views and experiences of CETRs and are asking individuals to take part. These two research studies are complimentary and will provide important learning about effective CETRs.

The flyer below explains the differences between these studies, how you can find out more, and how to get involved. Please do share it with anyone you know who has had a C(E)TR in the last 12 months who may be interested in taking part in the survey or interviews.
