We have just relaunched our Children and Young People's Service (CYP) for Leicester, Leicestershire & Rutland Sensory Services and it was a great success!

They had a great morning at Soft Touch Arts, meeting up with families for a chat, some fun activities and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather.

The team are now busy planning their summer activities! ☀️

A big thanks to Soft Touch Arts for their kind support and letting us have a space in their café!

Our Training Officer, Jet, attended the DFN Project Search HQ Conference recently to deliver an Introduction to BSL (British Sign Language) for the attendees and we've been told it was a fantastic session!

Jet has always been passionate about breaking down barriers for deaf people, raising awareness around Deaf culture and teaching people simple ways to improve communication and inclusion.

His corporate training sessions and BSL classes are always engaging and he's an absolute pro at finding ways to connect with an audience & his students to help build their confidence. His gestures and facial expressions alone are often enough to convey a message without you even knowing a single sign!

If your corporate goal this year is to improve your organisation's accessibility and inclusion for deaf and hard of hearing people, then do not hesitate to get in touch with us to learn about the training we offer (follow the link below).

If you fancy gaining qualifications in BSL level 2 or 3, we have listed new dates starting in September this year!
