Happy Nurse's Day 👩🏼‍⚕️

I have been a registered nurse for 16 years, to me nursing isnt just a job, its a vocation! Its enabled me to care for people, to make them feel safe, supported, championed for, listened to, held their hands as they have taken their last breath or comforted them through some bad news.

The last few years of my nursing career has been a bit different, in medical aesthetics I have given people confidence, been someone they confide in, they have trusted me with not only their face but to keep them safe & protect their health & wellbeing. It has been a privilege & I feel very honoured that people have chosen me! ✨️

Since losing Mr A 💔 & the job role that I moved both mine & ziahs whole lives down to Cornwall for, it has been the hardest time in possibly my whole life. I felt like I'd lost my purpose, my business & myself!

I took some time out to grieve & process everything that was happening but then it was time to pick myself up 💪🏼

Being a nurse, I was able to find myself a number of nursing roles to keep not only our heads above water but it gave me my purpose & my spark back. I've been working in cosmetic surgery, elderly care & school nursing, working full time whilst also working in the background to get my own clinic up & running.

Today feels like the right time to announce I finally have the keys, the flooring is down, sink installed & I'm here today tackling all of this furniture 💪🏼

I want to thank everyone who has supported me with words of encouragement & reminders of who I am & what I built by myself in Birmingham, so I can do it again down in Cornwall ✨️ My family, friends, new friends & businesses in Cornwall, those who have trusted me with their faces from Birmingham & all the new people who are trusting me in Cornwall 💉 Thank you 🫶

✨️Profhilo Structura ✨️

✨️What is Profhilo Structura? It is an advanced injectable from the Profhilo family designed to work deep in the facial tissues. It’s not a dermal filler — it’s a bio-remodelling and regenerative treatment made of highly purified hyaluronic acid (HA) that creates long-lasting structural support.

👋 It's been a while!

I haven't been posting online for such a long time, since moving to Cornwall it's been a rollercoaster of a ride with some amazing highs settling into our new life, but the last 6 weeks have been some of the lowest & toughest of my life 💔

Unfortunately, my friend, boss & and mentor, Mr Ahmad, Sheikh Ahmad Cosmetic Breast & Aesthetic Surgeon suddenly passed away & along with the heartbreak, it left me with so much uncertainty.
I've done a lot of soul searching these past 6 weeks & have made the decision to stay in Cornwall ✨️ I know Mr Ahmad would want me to make a go of this new life in Cornwall that he started for me.

So that being said.... this is a lil introduction about me to my new followers.

✨️I am a registered nurse who is also a prescriber. (So there is no need for any extra appointments with another person to prescribe your aesthetic treatments)

✨️I have been working within the speciality of medical aesthetics for 8 years, leaving my NHS role to run a busy full-time clinic in Birmingham.

✨️I am studying a hormonal wellness diploma that will incorporate women's, teens & men's hormones. Focusing on nutrition, health & well-being & emotional coaching.

✨️I feel like I am starting again, going back 8 years 😩 but those who know me will say how determined I am & I am not afraid of hard graft 💪 I'm also really nice & quite funny 😆

Oh Mr A 💔 I am absolutely broken. I met you as a patient, we ended up as friends, then colleagues & then you changed mine & my sons life by giving us the opportunity of a new life here in Cornwall so I left Birmingham & joined your team at BYC on a permanent basis. I thoroughly enjoyed working alongside you, learning from you, assisting you in clinics & felt very honoured that you trusted me to care for & treat your patients. You were a true gentleman, one of the good guys, you was always so interested in my sons basketball & modelling, always praising him 💙 you used to tell me off for losing weight... I'd get on the scales to prove you wrong... but of course, you were always right! 🤣💔 I am going to miss you so much & I feel so lost right now, but I will do whatever I can to help the girls at BYC get through this incredibly difficult time. Rest easy Mr A 💔 You were loved & will be immensely missed 💔

It is with the deepest sadness that we share the news that our beloved Mr. Ahmad passed away last night.

Mr. Ahmad was more than an exceptional surgeon; he was a devoted partner, father, and friend who dedicated his life to caring for others. His pioneering work in cosmetic and reconstructive surgery changed countless lives, and his warmth, empathy, and generosity touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

I've been a little bit quiet on here as I've had a massive life change✨️

I have been provided with an opportunity that gives me & my son a better quality of life & I decided that these opportunities don't often come around twice.... so I grabbed it with both hands & moved our whole life down to Cornwall 😍

I have sent out messages to all of my patients. However, it appears that it didn't reach everyone 😥 so please drop me a message if it didn't & I will fill you in on the plans going forward 💜

As excited as I am for the new opportunity, it also broke my heart to leave. But to see my son living his absolute best life makes me know I've made the right decision.... it just feels like home 🏡

I want to thank the girls at LUMI for the best 4 years in business together, I will miss you both but can't wait for our coastal walks 😍
