Happy Nurse's Day 👩🏼⚕️
I have been a registered nurse for 16 years, to me nursing isnt just a job, its a vocation! Its enabled me to care for people, to make them feel safe, supported, championed for, listened to, held their hands as they have taken their last breath or comforted them through some bad news.
The last few years of my nursing career has been a bit different, in medical aesthetics I have given people confidence, been someone they confide in, they have trusted me with not only their face but to keep them safe & protect their health & wellbeing. It has been a privilege & I feel very honoured that people have chosen me! ✨️
Since losing Mr A 💔 & the job role that I moved both mine & ziahs whole lives down to Cornwall for, it has been the hardest time in possibly my whole life. I felt like I'd lost my purpose, my business & myself!
I took some time out to grieve & process everything that was happening but then it was time to pick myself up 💪🏼
Being a nurse, I was able to find myself a number of nursing roles to keep not only our heads above water but it gave me my purpose & my spark back. I've been working in cosmetic surgery, elderly care & school nursing, working full time whilst also working in the background to get my own clinic up & running.
Today feels like the right time to announce I finally have the keys, the flooring is down, sink installed & I'm here today tackling all of this furniture 💪🏼
I want to thank everyone who has supported me with words of encouragement & reminders of who I am & what I built by myself in Birmingham, so I can do it again down in Cornwall ✨️ My family, friends, new friends & businesses in Cornwall, those who have trusted me with their faces from Birmingham & all the new people who are trusting me in Cornwall 💉 Thank you 🫶
I may feel like I have gone back 9 years.... but I am looking at it from a different perspective...
