The less you eat the longer you live.
This is not a diet tip. This is nature showing you the same truth in every single species on earth. Every animal that lives the longest eats the least. Tortoises live 150 years eating almost nothing. Humans in blue zones who eat one small meal a day outlive everyone around them. Centenarians across every culture have one thing in common — minimal food intake for most of their lives.
When you eat less your body does not have to spend its energy breaking down food. That energy goes into repair. Cellular cleanup. Autophagy — where your body literally eats its own damaged cells and recycles them. Deep healing only happens in the absence of digestion. You cannot digest and heal at the same time.
Overeating is the slowest form of self destruction in existence. Every single meal is a tax on your organs. Your heart pumps harder. Your pancreas works overtime. Your liver processes. Your gut ferments what it cannot break down. Your body is constantly in repair mode never healing mode because you never give it a break.
Fasting is not about losing weight. It is about extending the life of every cell inside you. The more time your body spends digesting the less time it spends rebuilding.
Look at the animal kingdom. Look at every long lived culture. Look at what your body actually asks for when you stop stuffing it. The truth has always been there.
The less you eat the longer you live. The more you fast the more you live.
