The jewellery we sell in store at Vela meets the criteria and high standards set by the Association of Professional Piercers. Meaning when we say it’s implant grade, we can prove it is!

This is our client Becky with her Conch and Tragus piercings when they were fresh. I got to see them recently at 5 months and they are healing perfectly!

We have had an influx of new followers recently, so we thought it was a good time to make an introduction post.

✨Meet the team behind Vela✨

✨Hannah - Hannah has been piercing for just over 16 years. She regularly attends conferences in order to keep up to date with industry standards, and improve her knowledge. She constantly strives for excellence and always wants to give her clients the best experience possible.

✨Mark - Unbeknownst to Mark, by asking Hannah on a date, it would automatically enlist him into the role as head of marketing for Vela. Mark is in charge of all things social, and the Vela website. He also has the additional job of trying to cajole Hannah into making a post every once in a while. This is a job in itself.

✨In their spare time Hannah and Mark enjoy playing board games, video games, travelling to new places and going to gigs.

✨Both of them are always grateful for the support shown to Vela from our clients. We look forward to welcoming you in the studio soon!

Birmingham Hair salon Anamaze Hair✂️ had this well healed that hadn’t had jewellery in it for a while. I reopened it and added this gorgeous Champagne Prong set piece from NeoMetal Body Jewelry. It looks incredible in the glorious sunshine we are having.
