Cosy Yoga - Yoga Nidra Soundscapes Birmingham UK Suffering With Stress, Overwhelm, Pain & Insomnia
Or an inappropriate work-life balance = Yoga Nidra Had a massage
Or been in a hydrotherapy/ flotation tank.

Yoga Nidra
Includes no movement, stretching, or strengthening. All you need to do is lie down in a comfortable position and be open to all the benefits. This technique will rejuvenate your body/ mind and heal you on an emotional level while resolving problems as the right and left hemispheres of your brain meet and harmonise, resulting in solutions. It is a practice of the mind, but it is effort

less and is deeply effective on the body which will remain in ‘ pose (lying down). In Yoga Nidra you’ll experience a state known as ‘the witness self’, whereby your awareness is suspended between the stages of dream and sleep. This is why you will feel like you’ve been;
On a little holiday......a restful state, a place away from your daily problems, while solving them at the same time. In this, receive a 20 minute Nidra, a Nidra accompanied with a mini sound bath, and an opportunity to meet others and share your experience of the journey you received. When you come back, you are renewed and more detached, which enables you to see things more clearly. Your body is renewed on a cellular level
You will feel energised, yet grounded. Sound Healing
In my repertoire, you will hear different sounds, such, as singing bowls, percussion instruments, the naked voice. These musical instruments will be used either as sound effects to enhance the theme of the Nidra, I incorporate the live playing of these healing Sound Baths. So you deepen the theme on the Nidra and receive the healing vibrations of the instruments.

OMG! Before Inner Ceremony Journey, stress was literally taking my voice away.

During our voice activation, I couldn’t fully access my voice until I picked up the Shruti Box. Within moments, something shifted. Emotions I’d been holding onto began to move. My voice became a channel for expression, release, and healing.

Since then, my voice soreness has disappeared. I’m speaking normally again, accessing my full vocal range, and finally feeling ready to face what was trapped beneath the surface.

Sometimes healing arrives in the most unexpected ways.

If only you were there 💛✨

WHY CEREMONY MATTERS

There is a thread that quietly weaves through everything I do.

Whether I’m standing with a couple on their wedding day, holding space for a family saying goodbye to a loved one, guiding women through a menopause ceremony, or leading an Inner Ceremony Journey, the heart of the work is the same:

Ceremony.

Many people think a ceremony is simply an event. A gathering. A ritual. A special occasion marked on a calendar. But a true ceremony is something much deeper.

At its essence, a ceremony is a conscious pause.

It is a moment when we stop moving on autopilot and bring our full attention to a transition, a change, a loss, a beginning, an ending, or a becoming.

For thousands of years, human beings have used ceremony to help us make sense of life’s biggest moments. Ceremonies help us honour what has been, acknowledge what is changing, and step intentionally into what comes next.

Without ceremony, transitions can feel confusing, abrupt, or unfinished.

With ceremony, they become meaningful.

A ceremony helps us move from one chapter of life to another with awareness, dignity, and purpose.

This is why ceremony matters.

As a civil celebrant, I create ceremonies for life’s visible milestones: weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, coming-of-age celebrations, menopause ceremonies, and other significant moments that deserve to be witnessed and remembered.

But alongside this work, I also facilitate Inner Ceremony Journey.

The difference is that one takes place in the outer world, and the other takes place within.

💫In a wedding ceremony, two people cross a threshold together.
💫In a funeral, a family navigates the threshold of loss.
💫In a naming ceremony, a child or adult is welcomed into a new identity.

At ‘Inner Ceremony Journey’ event, the threshold might love invisible. It may be a belief that no longer serves you, an emotion waiting to be felt, a version of yourself that is ready to be released, or a deeper truth waiting to emerge which is why it’s felt on a profound level.

Yet the purpose remains the same:

🤍To create a safe, intentional container for transformation.

This is why I often describe myself as a ceremonist.

Not simply because I officiate ceremonies, but because I understand the deeper role that ceremony plays in helping people navigate change.

And this is where the alchemy comes in.

People often ask why I call myself The Ceremony Alchemist.

Alchemy was never simply about turning lead into gold.

At its heart, alchemy is the process of transformation.

It is the art of taking something in one form and helping it become something new.

💫A wedding transforms two lives into a shared journey.
💫A funeral transforms grief into remembrance.
💫A menopause ceremony transforms an ending into a rebirth.
💫An Inner Ceremony Journey transforms insight into embodied wisdom.

My role is not to change people.

My role is to create the conditions where transformation can happen naturally.

To listen deeply.

To weave together stories, symbols, practices, and experiences.

To help people recognise the significance of the moment they are living through.

And to support them in crossing the threshold with intention.

Whether that happens in front of a room full of guests or with your eyes closed on a Yoga Nidra mat, the work is ultimately the same.

It is the work of ceremony.

And perhaps now more than ever, in a world that moves so quickly, we need spaces that invite us to slow down, pay attention, and honour the moments that shape who we are becoming.

Do You Believe In Causes - I’ve Got A Good One

Hey You, I’m doing something a bit uncomfortable - asking for support is never easy is it. But I believe in this path of a celebrant I am entering. Enabling me to officiant (weddings, funerals, life ceremonies, and some cutting-edge creations - really modern), but I can’t fully take bookings right now because I don’t have a car.

I thought I’d have one by now but my health has held me back for being able to earn enough to buy one.

Public transport isn’t accessible for the needs of a celebrant, as country buses that run every 2 hours won’t take me to the front door. Nor can I run across a field with a walking stick in one hand, with a folder in the other, hoping to get to the venue before the bride walks in!

So we’ve started a funding campaign with GoFundMe, to change this. A car will give me the ability to do this sacred work and make other people's dreams come true.

With ceremonies that focus on:

* Blending families
* Putting souls to rest
* Unity love

If it resonates, I’d really appreciate your support or your ability to share this campaign.

GET BEHIND THIS WOMAN SO SHE CAN BE BHIND A CAR

Statistic show that;

🚗 Women & Driving

* Women now make up almost half of all full driving licence holders in Great Britain. In 2024, around 49% of licence holders were women.
* Women are increasingly influencing vehicle purchasing decisions and are becoming a growing force within the motoring industry.
* Despite this, many women—especially disabled women—still face barriers to mobility, employment, and entrepreneurship.

💼 Women & Business Ownership

* There are now approximately 1.8 million female entrepreneurs in the UK, the highest number on record.
* Women represent around one in three UK entrepreneurs, a figure that has increased by 36% since 2015.
* Women aged 50+ are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs, now accounting for one in four female business owners.
* Closing the entrepreneurship gap between men and women could add around £250 billion to the UK economy.
* Female-led businesses still receive less than 2% of equity investment, despite evidence showing that companies with female founders often deliver stronger returns.
* Women lead approximately 19% of active UK companies—over 1 million businesses—showing progress, but also highlighting how underrepresented women remain in business leadership.

As a 52-year-old female entrepreneur, I sit within one of the fastest-growing groups of business owners in the UK.

Yet, like many disabled entrepreneurs, access to reliable transport can be the difference between building a sustainable business and remaining dependent on others.

“Women over 50 are the fastest-growing group of entrepreneurs in the UK. I’m proud to be one of them. But without a car, I can’t reach the weddings, funerals, naming ceremonies, and community events I’ve trained to serve. Mobility isn’t a luxury for my business—it’s the key that unlocks my independence, livelihood, and ability to contribute.”

Ceremony Doesn’t Wait for Public Transport

When someone is getting married, saying goodbye, or marking a life moment — they need their celebrant there, not on a platform waiting for a delayed train.
