Now we are in Cancer season this is a great breakdown of what to expect 🦀
Each year, Cancer Season invites us inward. As the Sun moves through the sign of the Crab, our attention naturally turns toward home, family, belonging, emotional well-being, memory, and the foundations upon which our lives are built. It’s a season that encourages us to reconnect with what nourishes us, to tend our inner landscape, and to reflect on what truly matters.
Yet this year’s Cancer Season feels different.
While Cancer is often associated with comfort, familiarity, and security, the broader astrological landscape tells a more complex story. We are entering this season during a period of significant transition. Uranus is now in Gemini for the first time in decades, Chiron has just taken its first steps into Ta**us, Saturn and Neptune have begun a new cycle in Aries, and Jupiter is preparing to leave Cancer, entering Leo on June 29th. Mercury will spend much of the season retrograde in Cancer, while Mars is moving toward a powerful conjunction with Uranus in Gemini on July 4th.
Taken together, these transits suggest that Cancer Season 2026 is not offering us a retreat from change. Instead, it arrives in the midst of it.
This creates an interesting paradox. Cancer seeks security, yet many of the surrounding planetary influences are encouraging movement, adaptation, and growth. Cancer wants to protect what’s meaningful, while the future seems determined to introduce new possibilities. Cancer reminds us to honor our roots, while life asks us to consider which parts of the past still belong in the chapters ahead.
Perhaps that’s the true invitation of this season. Not to resist change, but to strengthen our roots as we move through it.
