The most common problem I see in the clinic? Fungal nail.

If a toenail's gone thick, discoloured, flaky, or built up in layers - that's fungal nail, and here's the honest truth: once it takes hold under the nail, it very rarely clears up on its own. It only ever gets worse the longer it's left.
