Something I hear so often. I trust you. It’s a big responsibility carrying out Aesthetics Procedures so it has to be done right! Here’s how you can pick the right practitioner.

🔵 Choose a Medical Professional
A medical professional knows how to act in an Emergancy, understands appropriate infection control and has a Governing Body to follow standards.

🔵 Ask to see their training certification in that particular treatment.

Each Individual procedure should have its own training course to ensure that person is competent in delivering it the way it’s designed to do. I always carry my training portfolio with me in clinic.

🔵 Meet face to face and have a full medical assessment before treatments.

Particularly important before a POM medication. But even treatments that arent I advocate you discuss the treatment and are informed before any procedure.

🔵 Ask about what there after care policy is.

I always ensure I speak to every client the day after treatment, review any Anti wrinkle treatments 2-4 weeks after and any other treatments welcome a review, and encourage clients to feel comfortable to message with any questions anytime after treatment. I’ve heard so many stories of people having treatments and being blocked the day after. Once you become my client I have a duty of care to you.

🔵 Ask about there infection control standards.

Do they use single use products.
Do they clean the room/treatment bed between clients.
Do they wear masks and PPE.
What product do they use to prepare the skin for treatment.

Most important, What Pharmacy do they use and how do they document after treatment.

About 6 months ago I came well away from Fillers, changing my brand to be less big plump lips that seems to be all you see on social media these days to advertise aesthetics.

What are your plans over this week? Comment below as I love hearing about people’s traditions at this time of the year.

It’s always a strange week where we don’t know what day it is, overeating and enjoying some family time. Or maybe you’re back at work now and everything resumes normality.

I plan to have some family time, lots of walking in the Oxfordshire countryside and lots of coffee shops.

I’ll also be doing one of my discount codes via . This will be one day before NYE. Keep your eyes out on text and email for these. From February there will be a slight price increase. It’s something I haven’t done since 2021. Any bookings made before February 1st will retain the price booked even if this is made for a clinic after February. But don’t worry, the prices won’t drastically change, just to coincide with stock costs as these are rising, as is everything else.
