Hebe Medical is a private medical practice run by Dr Berlinde Drucker, specialising in bio-identical hormone therapy and medical aesthetic treatments, based in Bishopsteignton, Devon, southwest England. This is the daily application of hormones identical to those in our bodies to middle-aged people whose own natural hormone levels are declining, leaving them short of energy and self-confidence, la
cking libido, suffering anxiety and inability to concentrate. In short, such women are in their menopause, men in their andropause. This BHRT treatment works as well in men as women, and is highly effective at slowing or even halting the ageing process.
2} Aesthetic treatments, that cover two main areas: a) In fighting the signs of ageing through skin treatments that improve skin health, quality and vitality; and b) In caring for certain medical conditions, particularly long-term health problems such as migraine headaches; scarring caused by (among others) injury, acne and psoriasis; poor peripheral blood circulation; tendinitis; and dark eye circles. The aesthetic anti-ageing treatments include:
Skin-smoothing injections (eg with dermal fillers);
Lip enhancement through injection of fillers;
Profhilo injections to boost the skin's own natural collagen synthesis;
Supply of Totally Derma, a collagen-rich nutritional drink that promotes skin health across the whole body;
Mesotherapy treatments using tiny multiple injections of nutrients to boost skin health and vitality;
Carboxy (carbon dioxide) and oxygen skin treatments to boost blood flow to the skin and so enhance the flow of nutrients to the skin. Healthcare aesthetic treatments include:
Treatment of migraine headaches through combined injection techniques;
Treatment of scarring caused by such issues as acne, psoriasis, injury and operations through application of dermaroller, dermapen, carboxy and oxygen therapies;
