Just 3 days to go until we take on the 21-mile Mighty Stride for the Kiltwalk to raise money for Re-engage! 🥾🧡

We’re getting very close now, and we’re so grateful for all the donations and shares we’ve received so far. Every donation will help Re-engage continue their amazing work helping older people feel less lonely in our communities.

This Sunday our staff from both our Blackburn and Bathgate pharmacies are taking on the 21-mile Mighty Stride Kiltwalk, raising money for the charity Re-engage.

Re-engage is a volunteer led charity that helps make life less lonely for older people, providing tea parties, gatherings and days out.

Our amazing colleague Margaret, or you may know her as “Wee Mags”, is one of the amazing volunteers who works closely with Re-engage, so this charity is very close to our hearts.

🧡 A LITTLE BIT ABOUT RE-ENGAGE 💙

With the Kiltwalk approaching, we wanted to share a little bit about the amazing work Re-engage does and why we’re taking on the 21-mile Mighty Stride this Sunday to raise money for them.

Re-engage helps older people feel less lonely by bringing people together through social gatherings, tea parties, days out and much more.

This charity is also very close us, as our lovely colleague Margaret, or “Wee Mags” as many of you know her as, is one of their amazing volunteers helping make a difference to older people in our community. ❤️

We are walking 21 MILES to raise money for re-engage, an amazing charity that helps older people in our community feel less lonely by taking them on days out, organising social gatherings and more!

Just a friendly reminder that we will be closed on Monday 6th April for the Easter holiday, but we are open as usual on Friday and Saturday. Please note that local GP surgeries will be closed on both Friday and Monday, however our Prescribing Pharmacist will still be available for appointments on Friday and Saturday if you would like to be seen. These can be booked at bathgatepharmacy.co.uk. 

We will also be running a walk-in clinic on Friday from 5:00pm–6:00pm and on Saturday from 4:00pm–5:00pm, so you can drop in for advice or treatment if needed.
