This picture was taken at the 15 mile mark of Sean and Nathan’s bike ride from London ——> Paris

Both are feeling extremely motivated to carry on with this challenge as they are donating all funds raised towards unpaid Blackpool carers of all ages.

Any donations are much appreciated and go to a really good cause.

Sunrise Support are getting themselves into something BIG!

Sean Kenny & Nathan Lowings, two of the directors from Sunrise Support will be cycling from London to Paris on 3rd September 2026. It will take them three days to reach their destination. This is an extraordinary challenge and you may think that these two are MAD for doing so (they are) but the reason they are taking on this challenge is to raise money for the Blackpool Carers Centre. Their aim is to reach £3,900 in donations and have already proudly pledged £2,000 of that themselves.

Blackpool Carers Centre is a local charity that provides vital support to unpaid carers of all ages. The charity offers respite, emotional support, activities, counselling and practical help to families who care for loved ones with disabilities, illness, mental health needs or frailty.

All donations, large or small are greatly appreciated and directly support carers in Blackpool who give so much of themselves every day.

An exciting day for Ryan and Sean who are embarking on a journey to Paris to watch Tour De France, Although the image may seem misleading, please allow me to reassure you that Sean and Ryan are not taking part in tour de France and Sean is not biking to Paris with Ryan on the back (HR wouldn't let them do it)
