Have you spotted our Friends Groups out in the community? 🥰

We have Friends Groups in Thornton-Cleveleys, Blackpool, Poulton-le-Fylde and Over Wyre, and they’re always busy bringing their communities together.

From coffee mornings, quizzes and bingo nights to Christmas fairs, they organise a wide range of activities and support our fundraising events throughout the year, all while raising vital funds and awareness for hospice care.

Every event, every collection and every conversation helps make a real difference. To all our Friends Groups, thank you for everything you do ❤️

Since joining Trinity in 2022, Ellie has shown incredible dedication, progressing from Nurse Associate to Registered Nurse through hard work and passion for patient care. Her journey is a brilliant example of how we support our staff to learn and build meaningful careers within Trinity Hospice.

A huge thank you to Lewis Cook, who raised an incredible £2,756.25 by taking on last month’s Beaverbrooks 10K Fun Run.

Lewis ran in memory of his partner Kat, who was cared for by our team. For his cheque presentation, Lewis was joined by his son and Melissa, our Living Well Service Team Leader, who supported Kat during her time here.

Lewis shared:
“All of the staff there were so caring and could not do enough for Kat, me and our family”

Choosing to fundraise in Kat’s memory, something she spoke about during her time at Trinity, Lewis is helping us continue to provide that same level of care, comfort and compassion to other families when they need it most.

Thank you to Lewis for his strength, generosity and for honouring Kat in such a meaningful way ❤

A huge thank you to Dennis Duignan and everyone involved in his annual appeal for Trinity Hospice and Brian House ❤

This year is particularly special as it marks the 50th anniversary of the Official Supporters Club (Blackpool & Fylde), this is an incredible milestone and a fantastic achievement. ⚽

From generous donations by club members to raffles and card sales on match day coaches, the support has been amazing. We’re also so grateful for the £500 contribution from the Manchester City Supporters Club.

Our Head of Fundraising, Linzi Warburton, had the pleasure of attending their celebratory dinner at the Etihad Stadium, where she shared a speech to personally thank everyone for their continued fundraising and support.

Thanks to these combined efforts, over the years they have raised an incredible £13,026.78 to support our care 👏
