✨ MEET COURTNEY… THE OTHER HALF OF THRIFTED BY JESSICA JADE 💕✨

If you’re new here, you might see the name Thrifted by Jessica Jade and assume it’s just me… but there are actually two of us behind all the madness! 😂🛍️

So I think it’s about time I properly introduced you all to Courtney. ❤️

Just 6 months ago, Courtney was running her own cleaning business, feeling unhappy and knowing that something needed to change, even if she didn’t quite know what that change was yet.

She started reselling with ONE item from a charity shop, put it on Vinted without really knowing what she was doing… and somehow our paths crossed. 🥹

We became friends — which neither of us probably expected 😂 — she took a chance, bought her first £100 worth of stock from my supplier and things just grew from there.

Fast forward 6 months and somehow this girl has gone from somebody I never expected to become friends with to one of my best friends AND my business partner. ❤️

Together we’ve built Thrifted by Jessica Jade into what you see today.

We source together, sort ridiculous mountains of clothes, do the lives, pack your orders, come up with crazy ideas, laugh until our stomachs hurt, stress together 😂 and are constantly thinking about what we can do next.

And believe me… we have BIG plans. 👀🔥

Courtney has taken such a huge leap with this too, and seeing her go from struggling and not knowing what direction she wanted to go in, to becoming a full-time reseller and building a business alongside me is something worth shouting about. 🥹❤️

So when you support Thrifted by Jessica Jade, you’re not just supporting a page or buying a £2 bargain.

You’re supporting two women who took a chance on themselves, an unexpected friendship, two families and a little business that started from basically nothing. 🛍️💕

And somehow, just six months later, we’re now looking for our own workspace because we’ve outgrown where we are! 😭🙌🏼

So everyone… officially meet Courtney — the other half of Thrifted by Jessica Jade. 💕

She might regret becoming friends with me 😂 but unfortunately for her, she’s stuck with me now!

Here’s to the next 6 months, Court… because I genuinely think we’re only just getting started. 🥂🩷

Ideally we’re looking for somewhere:

💕 Close to Knott End
💕 Clean & tidy
💕 Doesn’t have to be massive
💕 Enough room for clothing rails, one desk and a dedicated little area for taking photos 📸

We’re open to offices, small units or anything similar that could work for us!

And just like that… SHE’S BACK TO SCHOOL! 🎒✏️❤️

After 6 whole weeks of “Mum… Mum… MUM!” approximately 748 times a day 😂 we officially made it!!

It’s been a LONG six weeks juggling work, the business, days out, keeping her entertained and everything else life throws at you… but looking back, we’ve made some bloody amazing memories together. 🥹❤️

This morning it was uniform on, hair done, bag packed and off she went ready for another year of growing, learning and becoming even more of the funny, crazy little character she already is. 🥰

I’m so proud of her… but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t also looking forward to drinking a brew in PEACE today. 😂☕️

In Loving Memory of Bob Williams

Please note that Star will be closed today as we attend the funeral of our dear friend, Bob Williams.

Bob was an incredible person who supported Star from the very beginning. He became much more than a supporter – he became family. His dedication, encouragement, and belief in us helped shape Star into what it is today, and for that we will always be grateful.

Today, we take the time to reflect on the many memories we shared and remember Bob for the wonderful person he was. His kindness, generosity, and friendship touched so many lives and his legacy will continue to live on through the people and community he helped build.

Our thoughts are with Bob’s family and loved ones today.

Rest in peace, Bob. You will be greatly missed and never forgotten. ❤️
