Community based Care support worker required
Reliable and dedicated to providing care to people in their own homes.
Currently we require an experienced mature female due to the nature of the role to work the following:
Week 1- fri, sat and sun
Week 2 - mon and fri

Area- Little mill/New Inn and surrounding area

Hours will be between 7.30am until 2pm and 4pm until 10pm. These hours are variable and not exclusive.

Car driver essential for this role.

☀️💛 A huge shout out to all our amazing carers working through the heat this week! 💛☀️

While many people are able to stay indoors or work in cooler environments, domiciliary carers are out in the community whatever the weather, travelling from home to home and supporting people when they need it most.

What many people don't see is the emotional side of care. In the space of an hour, a carer may be supporting someone who is nearing the end of their life, comforting a distressed family member, and then immediately moving on to the next visit where they need to be upbeat, positive and full of encouragement for someone looking forward to their day.

Domiciliary carers have to adapt quickly to every situation they walk into. They carry the sadness, the worries and the challenges, yet still greet each person with a smile and provide the highest standard of care possible.

If you see a carer out and about in their uniform this week, please give them a smile or a friendly hello. Like many healthcare professionals, they work incredibly hard behind the scenes and a little kindness goes a long way.
