Enjoying a couple of days off work and a trip to Stamford and the pretty village of Great Casterton , to visit my son and daughter in law.

We made it to the village beer festival with my favourite little festival chick to hear an Eagles tribute band.

Great fun ! Today we discovered a fantastic cafe in Stamford that made the best vegetarian full breakfast.

I had time afterwards to spy on the contents of the cake cabinet with lots of ideas for future afternoon teas at Stonelea .

Back to work tomorrow for clients drop in treatments and looking forward to weekend spa stays .

What to do on a bank holiday? Have a spa day with your girls!

Three busy ladies were making the most of being child free for the day .

Treatment choices was a super relaxing facial and full body massages with pre blended botanical oils from Eve Taylor London.

We included a home made afternoon tea, Prosecco and my own amaretto chocolate truffles .

Thank you Caitlin, Dawn and Lindsey it was so nice to see you all . I’m glad you have had a day just for you ❤️ Thank you for choosing Stonelea . Xx

It has been another busy weekend with good friends booking up to stay with us to celebrate a 60th birthday.

Always sad to see our guests leave. Come back soon guys . The house is very quiet without you!

What a privilege it was for us to host the beautiful bride and her bridesmaids at the weekend , in the preparation for her big day. Afterwards it was also our pleasure to take care of the newly weds as they enjoyed a spa day and overnight stay to celebrate becoming Mr and Mrs .

Friday was the girls’ day and evening of pampering with luxurious facials and massages for the bridesmaids , including the little ones, who chose a foot spa and a mini facial with their own white robes to match the grown ups.

We started early on Saturday with a wedding breakfast for team bride and provided comfortable facilities for hair and make up artists until it was time for the wedding cars to collect everyone for the journey to say I do!

The following day we provided an appetising afternoon tea for the bride and groom and further relaxing treatments for both of them.

It was fun and exciting for us to play a small part in this very special day .

Another fabulous spa day . This time we were welcoming back Lucy and Sophie and they enjoyed relaxing on the sun deck, time in the hot tub and a delicious, home made afternoon tea.

Treatments today were Indian head message and reflexology.

The bonus was the sun shining all day long . Perfect !

It’s going to be an exciting weekend at Stonelea as tonight we are hosting Lianne and team bride as she prepares for the big day tomorrow . Once the festivities are over we will be looking after the new Mr and Mrs for their spa stay when they can enjoy peace and relaxation .

Today we are celebrating a 60th birthday for Paula .

A spa day with Indian head massages, reflexology and facials is on the menu along with a yummy home baked afternoon tea.

Loving the garlands , ladies. Stonelea has a festival vibe today and I am definitely up for it! Have a wonderful day and thank you for choosing us to host your special day.
