So this is a hard one to write, myself and Lisa are both very sad to say that as of 3rd January Dark Hearted Tattoos will be closed… as you all maybe already aware I was attacked from behind while me and Lisa was away on holiday back at the beginning of November, I sustained a broken jaw, broken cheek bone, and an open fracture to my ankle which required surgery and plates and pins, also a bruise to the brain which has caused me to be dizzy and has also caused me to have a shake in my hands 😔 so unfortunately as I don’t know how long it will take to heal, myself and Lisa after exploring all avenues have come to the decision that we will have to close the studio 😢 we are both absolutely devastated it’s come to this, as we don’t just see our studio as just a work place but we also see a place where we have gained so many friends, also lots of you have watched our son Brandon grow in the studio as we opened the studio the week after he was born 😊 we have watched babies from birth grow into beautiful toddlers and beyond… we’ve watched teenagers grow and turn in to beautiful parents, we’ve watched people take the route of drugs and people brush them off like they are a disease while they are still human beings, they used to come in to our studio to grab a cup of water from our water machine and in that time we grew to know them as the real people they are and not who they are labelled as.. they we have watch them change and sort their lives out many times … its just an overwhelming feeling becoming a part of the Bodmin community without living there… and that we will miss!!! We truly miss you all so much already!!
But on the back of that Abbie will be continuing to tattoo from a new location within Bodmin town centre, she will announce the location asap on her new page? She’s currently settling up her new page for you to book appointments through, so as soon as she’s sorted that please add her and support her journey… she’s currently on instagram under tattoos.by.abbie
We truely wish her all the best luck in the world! She is a beautiful human being and puts a lot of love, heart and passion in to her work…
We will be in the studio today whilst we clear it out, if you’d like to pop past to say bye you are more than welcome…
Just want to say thank you for all your support throughout the years and the support you gave us while Lisa went through Cancer!
