For over 100 years, we have supported blind and sight impaired people across West Sussex. Whoever they are, whatever they do, wherever they find themselves.

4Sight Vision Support was established in 1921 to support blind and partially sighted people in West Sussex. We now support over 2,000 members and provide over 5,000 people with a wide range of practical support solutions to help them remain independent following sight loss. Our main aim at 4Sight Vision Support is to improve the lives of blind and partially sighted people with sight loss. We support in many different ways though services, visits, information, guidance, advocacy and support. Our aims are to enable people to:

Adjust to sight loss
Make the best use of low vision
Combat social isolation
Access appropriate information and advice
Maintain independence
Participate actively in their communities and family life
Access facilities and open spaces, across town and country
Access high quality personal social care and clinical services, with appropriate and timely choices
Influence service design, provision, commissioning and planning
Make informed choices about their own health and wellbeing

4Sight Vision Support supports these aims by providing valuable and much needed services, enabling blind and partially sighted people to remain as independent as possible.

Thank You Thursday

This Thank You Thursday, we'd like to say a heartfelt thank you to the Midhurst & Petworth Rotary for their generous donation of £500 towards our costs.

This funding will help us continue providing vital services and support to 4 people in the Midhurst and Petworth area who are blind or partially sighted. Their support enables us to deliver information, advice, practical support and activities that help clients maintain their independence, wellbeing and connection to their local community.

On behalf of everyone at 4Sight Vision Support, and the people we support, thank you to the Rotary Club of Midhurst and Petworth for helping us continue this important work.

Accessible Technology is growing each day.
We can support you to develop new and existing skills, to communicate effectively and to remain independent with the help of technology.
Our team are wonderful at explaining options that might already be at your finger tips that you are yet to discover.

From communicating with others to doing your online banking, from completing a food shop or simply enjoying scrolling down your social media feed again. Technology can help us in so many ways.

This funding is helping to support our social clubs, providing opportunities for people across West Sussex who are blind or partially sighted to connect with others, build friendships and access valuable support in their local community.

The Royal National Institute for the Deaf (RNID) are offering Free Hearing Support Drop-Ins in Shoreham-by-Sea

Do you or someone you know have hearing loss or tinnitus?

The RNID are offering a free monthly drop-in service where friendly volunteers can provide information, advice and support. No appointment is needed.

Join the RNID on the 2nd Wednesday of every month, 1pm to 3pm, The Shoreham Centre, 2 Pond Road, Shoreham-by-Sea, BN43 5WU

Get support with:
Hearing loss and tinnitus
How to complete a hearing check
Accessing local support and services
Information and guidance from trained volunteers
