There is not always one clear moment when a family knows that more support is needed. Often, it is a series of smaller changes.

Everyday routines may be becoming more difficult. Care needs might be increasing, or spending long periods alone may be causing concern for the individual and their family.

Live-in care can provide consistent, personalised support while allowing someone to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.

If any of these signs feel familiar, a conversation with your local SureCare team could help you understand the options available.

When everyday tasks begin to feel more difficult, the right support can help someone continue doing the things that matter to them.

For people living with arthritis, a helping hand with personal care, preparing meals, getting around safely or household routines can make daily life feel more manageable, without taking away their independence.

This World Arthritis Day, we are recognising the importance of support that works with each person’s abilities, choices and routines.

This World Mental Health Day, take a moment to check in with someone who may be feeling alone. 💚

A friendly phone call, a shared cup of tea or simply making time to listen can offer comfort and remind someone that they matter.

Meaningful connection plays an important part in emotional wellbeing. Sometimes, being there is enough to make a real difference.

A few small checks can make home feel safer and more comfortable as the colder days arrive. 🍂

Check that the heating is working, make sure hallways and entrances are well lit and clear away wet leaves or clutter that could create a trip hazard. It can also help to keep blankets, warm clothing and everyday essentials within easy reach.

Save this post as a useful autumn reminder or share it with someone who may find it helpful.
