1. Complaints Procedure

📋 Book a consultation today Booking Fees & Payments
• A £50 booking fee is required to secure all appointments.
• Booking fees are non-refundable but will be deducted from the cost of treatment.
• If you provide less than 48 hours’ notic

e to cancel or reschedule, your booking fee will be retained.
• Failure to attend an appointment without notice will result in the booking fee being forfeited in full to Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd.
• Consultation fees are non-refundable but may be redeemed against the cost of treatment if you proceed.
• All treatment fees must be paid in full upon completion of treatment, before leaving the premises.
• Accepted payment methods: cash, card, bank transfer, or PayPal.
2. Late Arrivals
• Patients arriving more than 10 minutes late may need to have their appointment rescheduled.
• In such cases, the booking fee will be forfeited.
3. Treatment & Consent
• A full medical consultation and consent form must be completed before treatment.
• By signing the consent form and commencing treatment, you enter into a contract with Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd and are obliged to pay the agreed treatment fee in full.
4. Refund Policy
• Treatments are non-refundable once delivered as they are a medical service.
• Skincare or retail products are non-refundable once opened or used, in line with consumer law.
5. Medical Suitability & Right to Refuse Treatment
• All treatments are subject to medical assessment and may not be suitable for every patient.
• Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd reserves the right to decline treatment if it is unsafe or not in the patient’s best interest.
6. Liability Disclaimer
• While every effort is made to ensure your safety, Age with Elegance Medical Aesthetics & Skin Clinic Ltd cannot accept liability for adverse reactions provided that accurate medical history was given and consent obtained prior to treatment.
7. Children & Under-18s
• Patients must be 18 years or over to receive aesthetic treatments.
• In exceptional circumstances, specific treatments (such as acne management or wart removal) may be offered to under-18s with parental consent and clinical agreement.
8. Patients who wish to raise a complaint should do so in writing to the clinic.
• A copy of our full Complaints Policy is available upon request.

We often talk about ageing as though it’s something happening purely on the surface of the skin.

It isn’t.

Every time you smile, frown, squint or raise your eyebrows, the muscles beneath your skin contract. Over many years, those repeated movements contribute to the expression lines we begin to notice — initially when our face moves and, for some people, eventually when it’s resting too.

But that’s only one part of facial ageing.

Our collagen levels change. Skin becomes thinner and less elastic. Fat compartments and bone structure change too. Which is why I never believe in looking at one line in isolation.

Understanding what is creating the change you can see is far more important than simply deciding you want it gone.

And it’s another reason your practitioner’s knowledge of facial anatomy and the ageing process matters every bit as much as their ability to perform a procedure.

Treat the person, understand the anatomy, respect the face. 💜

Your breakout location can give us clues. It doesn’t give us a diagnosis. 🔎

I see so many very definite claims online: “Spots here mean hormones. Spots there mean your diet. Breakouts here mean your gut…”

Skin is rarely that simple.

Where and how you’re breaking out can absolutely form part of my assessment, but I’m much more interested in the bigger picture: your skin history, products, hormones, lifestyle, symptoms and what the breakout actually looks like.

Sometimes the best thing I can do for your skin isn’t immediately recommend a treatment.

It’s work out what we’re actually treating first. 💜

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗺𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲.

Sometimes I think we forget that.

We look closely and see the lines.
The change in our skin.
The loss of firmness.
The face that doesn’t look quite the way we remember it looking.

But that face has been there for all of it.

The laughter. The worry. The sunshine. The sleepless nights. The good years and the difficult ones. The people we’ve loved. The things we’ve lost. The experiences that have shaped us.

It has aged because we have lived.

I work in medical aesthetics, so of course I believe there’s absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to soften something that bothers you, improve your skin or make changes that help you feel more like yourself.

But I don’t believe ageing is something we need to erase.

Not every line needs treating.
Not every change needs correcting.
And looking older doesn’t mean looking worse.

Perhaps ageing well is partly about looking after what we have — and partly about learning to be a little kinder to the person looking back at us.

After all, she’s been through everything you have. 💜

Knowing where to inject is one thing. Understanding what’s happening underneath the face is another. 💜

As we age, it isn’t simply the skin on the surface that changes.

There are changes happening at multiple levels – bone, fat compartments, muscle, ligaments, collagen and the skin itself – and together, they influence the changes we eventually see in the mirror.

That’s why I believe a good aesthetics practitioner needs to understand far more than products and injection techniques.

They need a healthy knowledge of anatomy. They need to understand how and why the face ages. And they need to be able to assess which structures are actually contributing to what a patient is seeing.

Because if you don’t understand why something has changed, how can you decide whether – or how – it should be treated?

For me, the syringe comes after the assessment. Always. 💜

There’s a reason my clinic doesn’t feel like a typical clinic. 💜

For me, privacy and time are both luxuries – and I wanted my patients to have plenty of each.

Aesthetics can feel incredibly personal. You’re talking about things you may have felt self-conscious about for years, asking questions you might feel nervous asking, and trusting someone to give you an opinion about your face or skin.

That deserves more than a rushed appointment.

Having my purpose-built clinic at home means I can work in exactly the way I believe medical aesthetics should be practised: calmly, discreetly and with my full attention on the person sitting in front of me.

It was a very deliberate choice when I created Age With Elegance, and all these years later, it still feels like one of the best decisions I made. 💜

“How much is it?”

It’s one of the most common questions I receive — and it’s a completely reasonable one. 💜

But sometimes, before I can tell you what something will cost, we need to establish what you actually need.

You might message asking about filler because you’ve noticed a particular line or change in your face.

But when I assess you, I may think filler isn’t the best option at all.

I might recommend working on your skin quality or collagen instead. There may be another treatment that would better address what’s actually causing the concern. Or occasionally, I may recommend no treatment at all.

That’s why I’m sometimes reluctant to prescribe a treatment plan from a photograph or a couple of messages.

A proper consultation allows me to assess your face or skin, understand your concerns and expectations, consider your medical history and talk you through the options — including the costs — before you make any decisions.

You’re not coming to me simply to buy a treatment.
You’re coming to me for a professional assessment and advice.

So if you ask “How much is filler?” and I reply “I think we need to have a consultation first…” 😂

I’m not being difficult.

I’m doing my job.
