THE PERFECT LIP ISN’T A TEMPLATE

Creating beautiful lips isn’t simply about adding volume. It’s about looking at the lips as a whole, their shape, proportions, symmetry, definition, movement and how they sit within the rest of the face.

For this client, the goal wasn’t a dramatic change. She wanted a refresh — slightly more definition, a subtle increase in volume and, most importantly, improved hydration.

Her lips already had a lovely shape and enough structure to take Restylane Kysse, so we could enhance what was naturally there rather than changing the overall appearance.

The result? Soft, hydrated, defined lips with a subtle boost in volume, still completely her, just refreshed.

A little about me for all the newbies 🤍

I started my nursing career in Australia, where I lived for 12 years. During my time there, I was given an amazing opportunity to work as an Aesthetic Injector with Laser Clinics Australia, gaining invaluable experience and working alongside an incredible team in one of Sydney’s leading clinics.

I had the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s leading brands, learn from experienced injectors and develop my skills in an ever-evolving industry.

Now, I’m back in my hometown of Bolton with my beautiful baby girl, surrounded by my family, and have opened my own space 🤍

I’m continuing to grow, learn and develop as an injector, always striving to provide the best possible treatments for my clients. Aesthetics is constantly evolving, and I truly love being part of an industry where there is always more to learn.

Your injectables are only as good as your skincare

I know I talk about this a lot… but there’s a reason.

You can spend thousands on injectables, but if you’re not looking after your skin, you’re missing a huge part of the picture.

Your skincare doesn’t need to be complicated or involve 15 different products. It’s about finding the right products for your skin and being consistent with them.

Injectables are one piece of the puzzle, skincare is another part that helps bring it all together and maintain those results.

And here’s a little sneak peek into what I’m using and loving at the moment…

Because if I’m going to recommend skincare to my clients, I want to be using it myself too.

Every set of lips is unique, which is why understanding facial anatomy, choosing the right technique, and tailoring the treatment to each individual is so important. It’s all about creating lips that are balanced, natural, safe, and in harmony with the rest of the face.

Lip enhancement is one of the more technically challenging treatments I perform, but it’s also one of my favourites because I love creating beautiful, bespoke results.

What is Profile Balancing?

Profile balancing is all about creating harmony between your facial features, rather than changing the way you look.

We assess facial proportions to understand how the cheeks, lips, chin and jawline work together. A small, strategic amount of filler can make a beautiful difference to overall balance and symmetry.

For this client, I used a small amount of a higher G’ prime filler in the cheeks and chin for structure and lift, a soft filler in the lips to create harmony across the face, and treated the smile lines to soften them while maintaining a natural result.

The aim isn’t to make features bigger; it’s to enhance proportion, improve balance and keep results soft, natural and undetectable.

Not all forehead lines are a sign of ageing. Some people naturally develop static lines at a younger age due to their facial anatomy, muscle movement and genetics.

For this client, we treated the forehead, frown lines and performed a subtle brow lift to achieve a smoother, refreshed appearance while maintaining natural movement. I’m so pleased with these initial results, which will continue to improve as the treatment reaches its full effect.

Treating static lines early isn’t about being “too young” for anti-wrinkle treatment. If lines are visible at rest, early intervention can help soften their appearance and reduce the likelihood of them becoming more deeply etched over time.
