Night time eating, its about the food.

Imagine getting to the end of the day without feeling like you're fighting yourself around food.

No standing in the kitchen thinking, What can I eat?

No guilt after eating.

No promising yourself you'll be good tomorrow.

No feeling out of control around the foods you've spent all day trying to avoid.

Instead, you understand what your body and emotions need, you make choices you feel good about, and you move on with your evening.

That's the relationship with food I help women build.

Not perfect. Not restrictive. Just calmer, more confident and more in control. đź’š

You don't need another meal plan.

You don't need a detox.

You don't need to cut out carbs.

You don't need to start again on Monday.

What you need is a system that works when life gets busy.

A system that works around work, family, holidays, meals out and the days when motivation is nowhere to be found.

Because that's where long-term fat loss happens.

Not on your best days. On the ordinary ones.

My client has returned from an all inclusive and maintained her weight...

Because she has built the habits months before (not the week before!) Slowing down, understanding the impact food has on her mood and digestion and she prioritising her health.

She's in the maintainence phase. Going away in a weight loss phase and in energy deficit will almost certainly result in a scale gain. This is a topic for another day.

Perfectionism is one of the biggest things keeping you stuck.

You wait for the perfect week to exercise.

The perfect meal plan.

The perfect Monday to start again.

And when real life happens, it all falls apart.

But consistency doesn't mean doing everything perfectly.

It means learning how to keep going when things aren't perfect. This is HARD.

A missed workout doesn't mean you've failed.

An unplanned meal doesn't mean you've ruined your week.

A busy day doesn't mean you have to start again Monday.

The goal isn't perfection. It's progress you can actually maintain. đź’š

If you're tired of the all-or-nothing cycle and want help creating a plan that works around your real life, DM me COACHING. Ive spaces available for September.

Most diets work. The problem is what happens when you stop.

You can lose weight on almost any approach if it creates the right conditions and you can follow it.

But if the plan leaves you hungry, restricted, miserable or constantly thinking about food…

Eventually, you’ll stop following it.

And then it feels like you failed.

You didn’t.

The plan just wasn’t designed for your real life.

Sustainable weight loss isn't about finding the perfect diet.

It’s about finding an approach you can actually live with, through weekends, holidays, stressful days, social occasions and everything else life throws at you.

The goal isn't just to lose the weight. It's to make sure you know how to live without the diet afterwards.

It was a pleasure to join Nathan Nagal on Islam Channel Salaam Britain this week to discuss a topic that affects us all: food and mood.

We explored how our dietary patterns can influence not only our physical health, but also our energy, mood and overall wellbeing. While there is no single mood-boosting food, the growing body of evidence reminds us that the foods we eat consistently can play an important role in supporting brain health.

One of my favourite parts of the programme was answering questions from callers, highlighting just how much interest there is in understanding the connection between nutrition and mental wellbeing and the food impact the environment has on children.

Thank you to Nathan and the Salaam Britain team for the invitation and for creating a space to discuss evidence-based nutrition in an accessible way.

If you watched the programme, I'd love to hear your biggest takeaway from the discussion.

3 mindset shifts that can completely change your weight loss journey…

✨ 1. Stop waiting until Monday.

Every time you promise yourself you'll start again on Monday, you stay stuck in the same dieting cycle. Your next choice can start with your very next meal.

✨ 2. Let go of perfection.

There is no such thing as eating perfectly 365 days a year. One off-plan meal doesn't undo your progres, it makes you human. What matters is what you do next.

✨ 3. Stop making the scales your only measure of success.

If your only goal is to shrink your body, you'll miss the bigger picture. Focus on building habits you can repeat, becoming stronger, feeling more confident and creating a lifestyle you genuinely enjoy. The weight loss can follow.

Which of these mindset shifts do you think would make the biggest difference for you?

Behind every workout is a choice to invest in my future.

• Alcohol-free: because I value clarity, better sleep and showing up as my best self.

• Strength training: not to make my body smaller, but to keep it strong and capable for years to come.

• Staying present: learning to enjoy life instead of always chasing the next goal.

• Continued learning: because looking after your health is a lifelong journey and I want to keep growing personally and professionally.

Health isn't one habit. It's the small choices I make consistently that help me build a life I genuinely enjoy.

Weight loss can be part of that journey, but it isn't the whole story.

What's one healthy habit that's made a real difference in your life?
