It is in a blink of the eye that life can change. A twisted bowel, a broken hip. Stroke, clots, cancer, diabetes...so many reasons. Only God knows our toe tag...Life is too short 😢.
We all need to take care of each other instead of breaking each other down. I'm going to make a bet, that out of my "Family" and "Friends" less than 6 will take the time to copy and post this…Who are my SIX.
I bet I’ll be shocked 🙏❤️🙏

Planning App. No: 26/2187/REM

If anyone wasnt aware Equinix have submitted their Reserved Matters Planning application. There are many smaller applications - which you can comment via email @ [email protected], but the main is now on the Hertsmere Borough Council planning portal and the application number is 26/1187/REM, it is for the phase 1 a which is only the infrastructure, but includes very important bits like the bridge over the river which will be huge in length and height for such a tranquil spot, and also the substation building, the details of the back up diesel generators which are now back down from 260 generators to 185 but up from the original planning application of 144.

Nothing as yet about the car park at DAO.

Please do comment but be aware of this: you comment on these types of subject matter, and before 23rd September.

• Access: How vehicles, cyclists, and pedestrians enter and move through the site and connect to public roads.

• Appearance: The external look of the buildings, including architecture, materials, color, and texture.

• Landscaping: Tree and hedge planting, grass, boundary walls, fences, and screening.

• Layout: The specific arrangement and orientation of buildings, paths, and open spaces.

• Scale: The height, width, and length of each proposed building.

"Application for the approval of reserved matters relating to site-wide advanced infrastructure and enabling works (Phase 1a), including a permanent vehicular access off Swanland Road which will facilitate a temporary access during construction, a permanent emergency vehicle access off Bridgefoot Lane, pedestrian and cycle routes, internal roads, car and cycle parking, hard and soft landscaping, on-site water attenuation, temporary and permanent campus bridges, utilities and services, a security gatehouse, substations, ancillary buildings and service yards, the creation of development platforms to support the phased data centre development, and all associated infrastructure pursuant to outline planning permission reference 24/1152/OUTEI."

Potters Bar SIGRA will be doing objections on particular items and we will also try and give you guidance when we understand the issues.....please join our group "Save 85 acres"

The scale of it is just HUGE.

**ONE VOICE ONE COMMUNITY**
***MAKE YOUR VOICES HEARD***
**TOGETHER WE ARE STRONGER**
* DEADLINE: 16 SEPTEMBER 2026 *

This is your chance to make a difference to the local community and to the precious Greenbelt which is under threat again, which can only be described as r**e and vandalism of the natural environment which is disappearing daily especially in the local area.

It’s your neighbourhood that is being affected and will be destroyed by this application.

Let People Power win the right to live in harmony, openness and peace which the community has enjoyed for generations and put an end to the madness of the decimation of the Greenbelt and all that it has created to protect the community from pollution and over sprawling.

Hertsmere Borough Council’s Planning Department is now in Special Measures and is under the control of the Local Government Authority Planning Inspectorate.

Please make your objections and save the community from being laid waste to concrete!!

Save our precious Greenbelt for our future generations 💚💚💚

*PREVENTING PROSTATE CANCER*

Prostate Cancer affects only men, especially those over 50 years of age, which now includes my own youngest son who only just turned 50 years himself.
Having had to bring up two boys on my own, since my late hubby passed away aged 37 years from terminal stomach cancer in 1987, I’ve had to be both Mum and Dad to both, always being honest and open about everything in life, especially cancer related diseases. Prostate cancer is now in the spotlight once again and just wanted to share some essential information about the symptoms that some men may be experiencing now and that they MUST make sure they get checked out by their GP first. A very quick blood test and/or examination will prove any enlargement of the prostate gland and if there is anything going on, then further tests will show whether it’s just a temporary thing or something more, which needs further investigation. Too many men ignore the signs and symptoms and just carry on as usual but it’s being diagnosed in the early stages that is vital, so please don’t delay if you think this applies to you as it’s better to be safe than sorry and perhaps leave it too late for successful treatment, which sadly is the case for so many men.

Dermot Murnaghan, a very well known TV presenter sadly passed aged 68 after losing his battle against prostate cancer.

This doesn’t have to happen to you if you take precautionary care of yourself as prevention is better than a cure.
Please do get checked not only for yourself but for your loved ones too.
