I’m a teacher, hypnotherapist and parent of three.
I notice things about children most people miss.
Not because I have some magical child-reading ability. But because I’ve spent years watching children in different situations.
The child who is confident with friends but suddenly goes quiet when an adult asks them a question.
The child who seems “fine” all day and completely unravels at home.
The child who keeps asking the same question because the answer hasn’t quite made them feel safe yet.
The child who says “I don’t care” when you can clearly see that they do.
The little things matter.
Because behaviour is very often communication, and children don’t always have the words to tell us what’s going on underneath it.
That doesn’t mean we should analyse every single thing our children do.
It means we can get curious before we jump straight to:
“They’re being difficult.”
“They’re just tired.”
“They’re being dramatic.”
Sometimes there’s another story underneath the behaviour.
That’s what I’ll be sharing here.
Real-life observations, practical ideas and ways to support children with worry, anxiety, confidence, sleep and big emotions.
If you want to understand the little things your child might be showing you, follow along. ❤️
