It is with real sorrow that we have to announce that closure of our Bournemouth shop from the 1st of April 2026. This years marks the 150th year of GE Bridge being in Bournemouth and as one of the town's oldest companies, the decision to close the shop is one we have not taken lightly.

We have tried everything to sustain the business, but near impossible trading conditions, poor footfall in Bournemouth town centre and difficult access for our customer base, are all factors that have led to the demise of the shop.

We have some amazing offers on for the last few days, with reductions available across the whole product range - so please come in and grab a bargain!

We would like to thank all of our loyal friends and customers for your support over the years. Our phone will remain on and will divert to our Exeter store for the time being. We will continue to offer a home delivery service, either by phone or through our website:
