We were delighted to be supported by some of the team from Brown & Brown UK for the Dorset Plane Pull at the end of August. Our fundraising campaign is live for a little while longer, so if you've been thinking about sponsoring then head to the link below!

We're so appreciative of all the support that we have received across this fundraiser. A huge thank you to Dorset Plane Pull for putting on an event that pulls people together for brilliant causes. Including gift aid, we've raised just over £5000 - what a phenominal team effort ✈

📣 Calling all Lidl Plus app users! You could help The CRUMBS Project win up to £10,000!

We’ve been shortlisted as one of just five charities in our region in Lidl’s latest customer voting programme - but we need as many votes as possible to give us the best chance of receiving the maximum grant.

This funding would make a huge difference towards our annual fundraising target and help us continue supporting adults facing barriers to independence and employment 💙

Our person-centred hospitality programmes give people the opportunity to build skills, confidence and pathways towards greater independence and employment 🧑‍🍳

Will you support us with a vote?

The CRUMBS Project offers far more than practical training alone! Behind the scenes, our Digital Skills and Employability Coordinator, Janet, works tirelessly to support trainees in developing the essential skills and opportunities needed for greater independence.

Janet empowers trainees to carry their skills forward in whichever direction they choose, opening doors that may once have felt out of reach. Her support has a lasting impact, helping individuals realise their potential and believe in what they can achieve ✨

What an amazing summer we’ve had here at The CRUMBS Project ☀️ With September upon us, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of the wonderful ways we have continued to invest in our trainees, strengthen partnerships, and broaden our impact as an independent charity.

Through this digital edition of our quarterly newsletter, we hope to make our updates more accessible, celebrate the achievements of our trainees and team, and publicly thank the many supporters, funders, partners, and volunteers who help make our work possible.

Together, we continue to create opportunities, build independence, and change lives across our community - thank you!

Tonight, we'll be cheering on George and Ursula as they represent The CRUMBS Project at the Purple Umbrella Awards as finalists in their respective categories ☂️

George's commitment to sharing his passion for the kitchen with others, alongside Ursula's dedication to mentoring and raising standards, perfectly reflects what we're all about at The CRUMBS Project. We're incredibly proud of both of them!

Whatever happens this evening, being recognised as finalists is a remarkable achievement. Good luck, George and Ursula; we're behind you every step of the way ✨

Sharing food while building skills and confidence has always been at the heart of what we do at The CRUMBS Project. Well done Ella on producing a fantastic bake and thank you to our trainee support assistant, Caroline, for sharing your expertise with our next generation of trainees ☺️

We've been featured across Bournemouth Lifestyle; what a wonderful surprise!

While we're incredibly proud to see The CRUMBS Project recognised, this feature is really a celebration of our amazing trainees 👨‍🍳

Every day, our trainees work hard to overcome barriers, build confidence, learn new skills, and achieve goals they once thought were out of reach. We're privileged to be part of their journey and grateful to everyone who supports them along the way.
