πŸ›’ Your next shop could help make hospital visits a little brighter for local children. We're delighted that our Do It for the Kids campaign has been selected for the Waitrose Parkstone Community Matters scheme. 🀩

As we look ahead to the opening of our new Children's Unit at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital in 2027, we are fundraising for those extra touches that make a big difference to children and young people supported by our NHS teams. This includes play and distraction resources, sensory items, soothing spaces, colourful artwork and more that go above and beyond NHS funding. 🌞🌈

Next time you're shopping at Waitrose Parkstone, don't forget to cast your green token vote for University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity and Do It for the Kids. A small gesture can make a big difference. πŸ’™βœ¨

Over Β£2,255 raised in loving memory to enhance care for patients with cancer supported by the Royal Bournemouth Hospital’s Jigsaw Unit. πŸ₯ΎπŸŽ—️

A huge, heartfelt thank you to Tracy, who recently took on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge in memory of her mum, Diane. Her spirit inspired Tracy to join a charity trek across Yorkshire’s Three Peaks with her team at Eames Laurie Financial Services. ⛰️

Every penny from this wonderful donation will help enhance care for patients with cancer and their loved ones, supported by the Jigsaw Unit teams. Thank you so much to Tracy and everyone who supported her fundraising journey in Diane’s honour. πŸ™

We are grateful to the Churchill Foundation for its generous Β£2,000 donation to SPRING, which will support parents and relatives affected by baby loss in our community.

It was wonderful to welcome Becky Savill, head of marketing at Churchill Living, and Jess Revell from the Churchill Foundation as they presented this gift to SPRING, a service funded by University Hospitals Dorset NHS Charity.

The donation was made through a Churchill Foundation Small Grant after Jess nominated SPRING on behalf of Becky, her partner Ben and their family. Becky and Ben received support from SPRING following the heartbreaking loss of their baby at 21 weeks’ pregnancy.

Thank you to the Churchill Foundation, Becky and Jess for choosing to support SPRING and help fund support - above and beyond NHS funding - for those experiencing baby loss.

Now this is how you turn up the volume and jams for a good cause! 🎸 🎢 We're so grateful to everyone who attended and supported Wykestock, an all-day music festival held at Wyke Regis Social Club that raised over £2,512 for patients supported by University Hospitals Dorset's Cancer Care services.

The festival was organised by Billy in memory of his dad, who loved live music and drove bands to gigs in his van. After his dad's passing, Billy decided to honour his dad's passion by bringing the community together for a day of live performances while making a difference for patients with cancer, supported by University Hospitals Dorset's Cancer Care services. πŸ’™ 🩺

To Billy, his family and everyone who rocked out at Wykestock: thank you for turning precious memories and love into meaningful support for patients, their loved ones and our hospitals. πŸ™

πŸŒ™ While many of us were asleep, an incredible team was busy making a difference. Through the darkness, across the trails and all the way to the summit of Snowdon, our wonderful supporters and NHS staff pushed themselves to climb to the mountaintop and raise funds for the Royal Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch Hospitals. ⛰️

Every step they took helps us fund projects, state-of-the-art equipment and enhanced clinical spaces, making an impact on patients, their loved ones and NHS staff. To everyone who climbed, donated and supported, thank you. πŸ’™
