New research shows that when chemotherapy is given may strongly affect how brain cancer responds to treatment. The study focused on glioblastoma, an aggressive tumor commonly treated with the drug temozolomide. This chemotherapy works by damaging tumor DNA, but many glioblastoma cells survive by using a repair enzyme called MGMT. Until now, MGMT activity was treated as a fixed tumor property used to guide diagnosis and therapy decisions.

Researchers found that MGMT is not constant throughout the day. Both the gene activity that controls MGMT and the amount of MGMT protein rise and fall in a daily rhythm. Analysis of patient biopsy data showed that tumors sampled in the morning were more likely to appear MGMT suppressed, which can affect how tumors are classified. Laboratory measurements confirmed that MGMT levels fluctuate inside tumor cells, changing how sensitive they are to chemotherapy across the day.

Using mathematical modeling, the team showed that temozolomide works best when given at times that allow DNA damage to occur while MGMT repair activity is lower. Because the drug takes hours to trigger cell death, timing doses relative to these rhythms may extend its effectiveness. The findings suggest that aligning treatment with biological timing could improve responses without changing the drug itself.

If we can see our state of mind as a disease, we find there is a cure. We don’t have to suffer any longer. First, we need to forgive our parents, our brothers, our sisters, our friends, and God. Once you forgive God, you can finally forgive yourself. Once you forgive yourself, the self-rejection in your mind is over. Self-acceptance begins, and the self-love will grow so strong that you will finally accept yourself just the way you are. That’s the beginning of the free human. Forgiveness is the key.
You will know you have forgiven someone when you see them and you no longer have an emotional reaction. You will hear the name of the person and you will have no emotional reaction. When someone can touch what used to be a wound and it no longer hurts you, then you know you have truly forgiven.
