Join our team of Personal Support Assistants at Diverse Abilities, fitting you working hours around your life commitments.

The role:

Working as a personal support assistant provides you with flexibility to choose when you are available to work. You have the opportunity to work around your family and other work commitments you may have. We are looking for support assistants to assist adults with disabilities to do simple things that we take for granted, such as cooking, cleaning, visiting friends, going to college or gardening.

Experience is not essential as paid extensive accredited training; shadow shifts and ongoing support will be given.

Hours: 1 x 16 hours per week

Hours: 1 x 24 hours per week

Shifts: Hours between 7.00am and 9.30pm

Location: Various sessions across Poole, Bournemouth and Christchurch available

It is a requirement of this role to have or be willing to undertake a Children’s Diploma Level 3

We currently have a vacancy within Shapes Services for a Shapes Support Worker working across domiciliary care and transition services.

Tasks to include personal care, support with accessing the community and meeting medical needs

You will be providing 1:1 support and all training will be provided. Competency programmers will be followed to ensure capability. Previous experience of working with children and/or young people is essential.

It is a requirement of the position to hold a full UK driving licence
