This is why it’s never “just a job” 🤍

So many people wake up and dread going to work… but after 20 years in this industry, I still genuinely love what I do.

When you work this closely with people, clients become so much more than appointments in a diary. You hear about the weddings, babies, break-ups, new jobs, good days and the absolutely s**t ones 😂 You laugh, cry and put the world to rights together.

I received this message & honestly, it made me emotional.

The fact that someone thinks “I need to tell Emma” when something so special happens in their life is one of the loveliest parts of what I do.

Butterfly has never just been about nails, aesthetics or treatments. It’s about people. 🦋

I mean… the thickness 😅
The random fruit slices 🍊
The shape… let’s not even talk about it 😂

But this wasn’t failure.
This was the start of everything.

I didn’t know what I was doing.
I wasn’t confident.
And I definitely wasn’t “good enough”… yet.

But I kept going.

Every set taught me something.
Every mistake made me better.
And every bit of progress built the career I have today 💅✨

Now I help other women — especially busy mums — learn nails properly, build confidence, and create their own income around their life.

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you for all your lovely messages, comments & support on my last post… it honestly meant so much to me 🥹💖

After a lot of thinking, I’ve made the decision to take more time for myself & my family… making memories that really matter 💫

BUT… don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere! 🤍

I still want to be here for all of my amazing clients, so I’ve opened up late night appointments on Tuesdays & Thursdays to Insure I’m around your busy schedules ✨

Saturday 2nd May will be my last Saturday working for now 💅

So if Saturdays are your usual slot, please make sure you get booked in before then!

I said NO to this lash lift…

4 weeks after having them done elsewhere,
my client wanted a redo.

But her lashes were already over-processed.

I could’ve done it…
But it would’ve made them worse.

So we did this instead 👇
